Harry Kane just won the Ballon d'Or, the first Bundesliga player to do it since Sammer in 1996. Bayern win, but the league could win bigger if it markets this right and the title race gets tighter. Can the Bundesliga capitalize, or does Bayern's dominance kill the moment?

Him winning this before Bayern vs Dortmund this weekend gotta be straight out of the Bundesliga league offices dreamland

speaking of sharing #NWSL feelings…the postseason survey is live and I’m reminded of how much I love reading y’all’s responses

Begins to sweat

New @getfootballnewsgermany.com newsletter - PLAYMOBIL - Who wants to be a millionaire - And I tell a story aboht me and Vincent Kompany.

Greetings and salutations from CPKC Stadium! I will be ONE of your @sheabutterfc.com correspondent for today’s match between KC Current and Washington Spirit. It’s fan appreciation day here and I was feeling the vibe. This is the MatchDay thread. Be sure to tap in! (Thx again @sawyer08.bsky.social!)

Freiburg put in a hot 10 minutes after getting a goal to make it 2-1 but a Backhaus brain fart allowed Olise to put in a goal to seal the game. We’re heading into Bayern/Dortmund with Dortmund undefeated and Bayern looking a little shaky. What could possibly go wrong

What the hell was Backhaus thinking

Freiburg 👀👀👀

This game has gotten out of hand fast lol. We went from a close game to 3-0 in stoppage time in what felt like no time.

That’s goal number 131 for Andrej Kramarić for Hoffenheim. He converts a penalty to put Hoffenheim ahead of Leverkusen in the Stock Market Derby

Another week of Dortmund being in first to the horror of everyone

Paderborn being tied on points with Frankfurt

Someone in the stadium missed that Beier banger because they were on Snapchat

Dortmund haven’t had a 0-0 home game in over 140 games (as said by Derek Rae on the broadcast just now) and they also have to come up with stuff for people to not be on their phones. What a time to be alive

Kobel somehow made a save in this

Pure prayer kept that Guirassy shot out

An already must watch game today is even more must watch now

There it is SpongeBob, Stuttgart is tied on points with the relegation spots. Don’t think they’ll end there at the end of the season at all, but a very shocking start from them

Thrilled to announce we'll be the emcees for the 2nd Annual Cost of Living Classic put together by @mayor.nyc.gov Zohran Mamdani on Sunday Oct 25th at Maimonides Park in Coney Island! ⚽🎤 🗽 It's free to attend! Bring the family! 🎟️ Register Here: www.nyc.gov/content/orga...

ENOUGH ALREADY

It’s gotta be crazy to be on your phone for home games of one of the most tumultuous teams in soccer

No, send her to 1. FC Köln, unbiased of course

Stuttgart is in “uh oh” mode tbh

That says it all for Undav lately

Stuttgart deserves this because they chose to spend the second half attacking away from their supporters end

That was one of the goofiest goals I’ve ever seen but Gladbach score yet again. Stuttgart could find themselves in a relegation spot this weekend

Stuttgart has spilled the gumbo

If you’re in or around Chicago we hope to see you there!

You know what we’re gonna say

How is Gladbach this bad bro lol

Wolfsburg almost have a walk off game winner in stoppage against Bochum but it’s called back for a handball.

Don’t forget your fantasy Bundesliga line up

Horrifying, hope everything’s OK

Nobody even kicked our ass for forgetting Leverkusen but Leverkusen won earlier today 2-0 to top all of Europa League.

📚 Bibliophile alert! As a massive fan of history, books, and the @bundesliga-en.bsky.social it was a privilege to speak with Uli, who has done so much to bring the story of German football to English-speaking audiences. 🎙️ open.spotify.com/episode/5HYE...

Bundesgenda Update Hoffenheim and Freiburg both play teams tied for first in Ligue 1 Hoffenheim will play Lyon in Europa League who have only lost 1 time in their last 8 games Freiburg play Monaco with probably minimal away fans and fresh off a Leverkusen loss. Monaco last their last game as well

Congrats either California, Florida, or anywhere with an indoor stadium lol

I know Burki got injured but how many people have won the DFB Pokal AND the US Open Cup that has to be an extremely small list
