English actor Scott Forbes as his tv character Jim Bowie (mid 1950s). Saw him in This Was a Woman (1948) and he was tall and nice looking. I'd like to watch the two seasons of that tv show. Adding it to the long list 🙃

Wish I could see this cuff and neckpiece in person. Shown in the Fendi Fall 2026 couture presentation.

I'm likely to get this. There was the music, there was the attitude, and there was the images. Madonna, made up, was very photogenic, especially in 3/4 profile I thought. Her rise, during this time, was amazing. www.simonandschuster.com/books/Madonn...

Is there a gofundthisjacket? Sign me up, thanks 🤤. Givenchy, men's Spring 2027.

It's been years since I have been excited about a men's presentation from Dolce & Gabbana. Every look from the Spring 2027 show had me 😍 Photo: Giovanni Giannoni for WWD

📷 One of my favorite purchases this year. I've enjoyed looking at all of the well-known 'sitters' and reading the anecdotes that accompany some of the photos. It's interesting to see what degree of smile some subjects gave, from slight to full (Chaka Khan!) From Phaidon.

Found it. I had seen The 9th Guest (1934) some years ago (probably on TCM) and enjoyed it but forgot the title. I haven't read or seen an adaptation of And Then There Were None which came later but if you love Murder by Death, as I do, you'll enjoy this movie.

I think that people everywhere need to demand quality new apartment buildings. The 'luxury' marketing verbiage many developers use is meaningless. I hate this crap. gothamist.com/news/crappy-...

🎄Fun seasonal movie - Never Say Goodbye (1946) starring Errol Flynn and Eleanor Parker. Flynn would have been in his later 30s here, but man he is a charming actor and a good sport. Parker, Forrest Tucker, Flynn.
