When a roaming band of photographers decide that your cargo bike needs it’s own photo shoot 🤣 #i❤️NY #CargoBikeLife #CitiesAreForPeople 🚲

NYC public spaces are magic. So many of us pausing to share the space in our constantly moving city. 🌆 Kids practicing dance routines, many resting our feet while we eat/read, families out for walks, so many artists, people gussied up for the opera, celebrities being regular New Yorkers. #LoveNYC

An amazing sunsets before our incoming storm. People stopped in the park, on the street, came off stoops, and stuck heads out of building windows to share this moment together. #LoveNYC

Hey #BikeNYC a friend was given 4 bike tickets for intersections they didn’t travel in. Almost $800 in fines because the police felt like ticketing a cyclist 🤬my friend is privacy minded so their phone doesn’t track location. Advice on dealing with cops making up infractions to hit their quotas?

Cargo bikes are such game changers. Vacation achievement unlocked: ✔️ car-free ✔️ multiple weeks ✔️ all the family’s gear ✔️ sailed past cars waiting for the ferry ✔️ no expensive beach parking ✔️ so much fun cycling everywhere

Sorry for my bike that sits in the rain but as a chemist this is super cool… 😎

It has been such a joy to start the days outdoors, birds and butterfly’s overhead, and the sun filtering down through the water. This morning I passed my 25 mile goal 🏊‍♀️ Thanks you @nycparks.bsky.social for bringing lap swim back to Central Park. 🌳

Amazing non-tenured track meet-up today at #BCCE2026 sharing the many ways we make this unconventional career track thrive. This community is so darn N-I-C-E 🧪 #Non-tenuredInChemEd

A $3 @mta.info subway fare and some good Q train timing can buy you one hell of a view of the July 4th fireworks and the Brooklyn Bridge light show! Huge shoutout to the train operator for slow rolling over the Manhattan Bridge and the conductor for announcing it.

Hey @nyc.gov- Bike infrastructure looks soooooooo good on you!🚲💕 🎶Bike lanes go the left of me, bike lanes to the right. Here I am, on Randall’s Island with you. 🎶

After spending months in Brooklyn my #StolenAirpods were at JFK last week and have now popped up in India. The sting of the theft has been replaced by fascination with their journey...

Found this little guy in the street a few weeks ago- posted signs but the rain washed away our #. A week later a kid recognized him as their class ‘pet’ & another family who lost him (& frantically looking) wrote their # in our sign. PS the pig was also found. All is right again in stuffie land.💕

Grueling semester so far but I’ve picked up a new hobby: Sandwich bag. Someone/something left this bag containing food on an inaccessible ledge outside my lab. All we can do is wait/observe… Day 34: possible mold developing, the weight still firmly on the edge, wind gusts predicted tonight.
