I confess almost complete ignorance about Mayor Kaohly Her but I am aware that she's non-white and female, so that automatically raises my skepticism when I hear stories that she's behaving in ways that suggest she should step down. Is she, or is there a lot of bigotry at play? I don't know.

It doesn't matter if this administration is corrupt if nobody is convicted of corruption. It doesn't matter if Trump makes a billion dollars off self-dealing if he's never impeached and prosecuted for it. Laws ONLY have meaning when there is enforcement for EVERYONE, even -especially- the powerful.

I've always thought it weird that on my first trip to England I got this close to the Queen Mother. Her car actually brushed my leg pushing thru the crowd. There are British people go their whole lives and don't get this close to a royal, and here I am in England for less than a week.

Okay, my QUESTION OF THE DAY is… What is your weirdest actual accomplishment? Not the biggest necessarily…but the weirdest?

Here’s an outrageous story about how Jacob Frey’s administration treats an immigrant they claim not to discriminate against, effectively doing the administration’s bidding & then dummying up for the media. www.startribune.com/immigration-...

startribune.comImmigration services misspelled his name. Then Minneapolis fired him.The termination of Public Works employee Darley Herrera has driven a wedge between city hall and the Laborers Union.

How to be a piece of shit as an organization: Panera Bread 1) Pester me with "Where have you been!?*" marketing emails 2) When I try to unsubscribe, pretend an error happened and don't. Repeat regularly. *Answer: I moved overseas.

Chaka Khan was already such a legend that Prince wrote her name into a song in *1979*! Here she is still making magic almost 50 years later.

This is SUPPOSED to be a democracy. The nation's leaders work for US. And when they, or their flunkies, are murdering citizens in the streets, they MUST be removed from power. Instead the President embezzles BILLIONS and Congress shrugs. So, each citizen, what are YOU gonna do about these murders?

In Minnesota, girls sell lemonade on the street to help their sisters arrested by ICE. Stephen Miller’s goons are very much still here. Sign reads, “Please help us raise money for my sisters because they were arrested by ICE” & this has been confirmed by trusted community members.

Spent the day buying and eating fresh fish, fruits, and vegetables and walking along the seashore. When the asteroid hits it will be my fault for building up all this Murphy's Law potential energy...

Went for a walk in Parque do Bonfim (at 107F a walk in the park is no walk in the park) and returned to Meliã Hotel Setúbal to find they'd left us a treat!

Everyone remembers the campaign promise to refill the swamp.

Hard to believe this is from a guy who inherited $413 million from his father only to declare bankruptcy 6 times before convincing an NBC producer to bail him out by creating a fictional show that he was a successful businessman.

The Bicentennial was a chance for the Right to beat its chest for the first time since the one-two humiliations of Vietnam and Nixon. Doubt me? Listen to Charlie Daniels' "In America." This year the Right is having a hard time pretending to be proud of a nation they are actively destroying.

Very factual information 💯💯💯🎯

During a layover in O'Hare airport in 1987 I sat and taught myself how to use my father's 35mm camera. About the time I finished figuring that out, Jesse Jackson walked by. So my first 35mm photo was of Jackson

Today I learned that flatworms are not affected by Ivermectin, which explains why this flatworm is promoting its use against the hated enemies of flatworms, roundworms. #TheMoreYouKnow

NEW: The chair of the President’s Cancer Panel, Dr. Harvey Risch, is a co-author on a study touting ivermectin for cancer. The study is backed by two anti-vax orgs, including The Wellness Company, which sells the drug and with which he is affiliated. www.importantcontext.news/p/chair-of-p...

I wish I believed this, but what I think is actually the case is that the mass media successfully shaped the narrative and persuaded millions of American citizens to vote for a criminal cretin because the American people are THAT stressed and gullible, and the mass media is THAT powerful.

At some point in the future I believe we are going to find out that Donald Trump actually lost all 3 elections and never really secured more than 15-20% of the vote in any election.

Watching Ep. 5 of Spider Noir and a cop is hurled across a room to the sound of the Wilhelm Scream. The scene ends and I see a car advertisement with John Krasinski, and a stunt motorcyclist in the scene falls... to the sound of the Wilhelm Scream. Maybe there IS such a thing as too much Wilhelm?
