Hey so because I already got a (now deleted) comment about this, I do NOT support the current right wing Hate Campaign against Its Bunlith and its creative staff. I'll keep comments active but if need be i will pause and/or disable them. Trans rights are human rights you freaks.

Talked about some cartoons made by the common person, WOW! youtu.be/yJGc81IhxZg

this might be the most unique looking indie series recently and I love how well the art and animation are done

Hey! It's been a while! I'm back with more Team Dark related goofiness. I updated the Team Dark Art Collection Books to adjust the layout and cover. If you already have an older copy I believe you are able to download updated one. Thanks so much for enjoying my illustrations! penbee.itch.io

Regular reminder that when you go to things while sick, you are giving those germs to people with autoimmune disorders, you’re passing them to someone’s newborn, to someone’s elderly parents. It’s “just a cold” to you but it can and does severely impact countless people.

I am b e g g i n g people to mask up at major cons, *especially* ones with 5-digit crowd sizes!! Lightbox this weekend was absolutely ravaged; I’m hearing of SO many attendees and exhibitors who got sick from doing the show this year!! Please stay safe out there! 🙏 🙏

Thanks for everyone who came up to me at LBX about the tutorial zine I made these for. Gonna redo it while using it as an opportunity to do vis dev for my project Mythic and kind of 2 and 1 it!

I know overthinking about therapy seems counterintuitive but having to explain my stance on AI to them wasn't fun. It sucks because I otherwise have no complaints but I'm committed on being against this tech no matter how unpopular it is with others.

Seeing all these Eric Bauza stories from his close friends is heart wrenching, but also inspiring. The fact that one man made such a difference in so many lives is aspirational. Be a good person, keep bettering yourself, be the change you wanna see.

I hope everyone takes time to tell their loved ones that they care about them tonight. Family, friends, whoever.

Stopped in my tracks once I found out that Eric Bauza passed. I never got a chance to directly interact with him but his presence, both on Kiff and all of his other projects, will always be felt. There will never be another. Rest in peace.

White people in this thread : 🤢 "not me i hate coleslaw!!" 😠 "i cant describe how but this is antiwhite racism" (wouldnt be at cookout anyway) 🫠 [ trying to 'sound black' to fit in or distance themselves from whiteness ] 🫡 "i understand the joke and can laugh at western, white (lack of) culture"

idk i guess "there's a twist at the end" could be a selling point? "secrets" is literally in the title. you can assume some withholding and deception is involved but then some people will inevitably figure it out at the beginning (or claim to have) so there's that...

realizing it's really hard to market/pitch my book series when one of its biggest selling points is a spoiler

I got real introspective with friends last night after work and while I may never say anything overt about my experiences, I vastly underestimated just how much of a negative emotional impact making silly videos about kids cartoons had on me and many of the people I care about.

I'm a different person now and I've got opportunities, connections and experiences I never would have had if I were still making videos about kids cartoons. So I'm definitely happy, but I'd be lying if I said this wasn't a factor as to why animation doesn't make me as excited these days.

Like everything though, my relationship with art can be fixed. And this is the closest thing I can do to get my "story" about my experiences pre-industry out there. So those who know, will know. I'll just look forward from here on out.

People are a lot different with different priorities in DMs and I genuinely don't know when this shift happened but they'll never admit to doing anything wrong, and when it comes to more serious moral failures that's scary, but that's not even my story to tell.

I'll never get proper closure, but I know that I was done dirty as well as my friends. But now I have friends and a professional career, one that the previous space didn't really want to acknowledge. It's kind of scary realizing me and others were basically bullied into silence.

It's never fun talking about in private and lowkey, I do expect to be able to get over my experiences someday considering where I landed, but the emotional responses I learned about through my friends last night were devastating. Keep people isolated and they never know how bad others have it.

The space that I was in effectively doesn't exist, and I'm empathetic enough to where I'm not happy when people from that space have controversy, but it's weird to see people's personalities change in real time to something more cold and focused on opportunities than community.

Yoooooooooooooooooo! I don't know what time or day yet, but this weekend I'll be streaming Neo Junk City, which comes out Nov 9th. I did some animations early on in the project and I adore what I've seen since. I'll be streaming on twitch.tv/izzi8bit

I normally don't think about it too much but watching gaming videos as a kid and learning that YouTubers I liked just hate black people cuts so deep I've never internalized it until now. And they just got away with it.

As I get older I find that online creators that captivated my generation are losing their relevance slowly, and I welcome it. It's about time.

Mediocre white dudes have held far too much relevance and I hope they fade away because the impact they've had on young people when I was in high school / college (Trump 1 era if you will) was cataclysmic. Some are better than others trying to rebrand their previously toxic ways. But I was there.

I'd love to actually find a way to talk about that specific period of online radicalization from my own perspective but I'm not a "breadtuber" by trade by any means. But if you ever catch me irl I could talk about this for hours. A lot to think about

People like idubbbzzz are suffering from radicalizing their audience so much that they're more toxic than him, and resent him for not continuing that endless cycle of feedinf into their worst qualities. I haven't thought of Ethan H3 in years and nothing that I'm learning now surprises me.
