At 30% of convention delegates, World to Win has secured the largest left delegation to NYC-DSA convention in the chapter’s history. Thank you to everyone who voted for us—we will continue the fight for a stronger NYC-DSA, led by and for members!

I have just published a piece that is very important to me. It's about why so many "progressives" and people on "the left" are lying to us right now about crime, safety, and repression, and what we should be doing instead. equalityalec.substack.com/p/why-is-eve...

Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet. Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well. Horrific.

I don't love AOC on every issue, but she is so much better on AI than almost all of her fellow electeds. Bernie Sanders, for example, has totally been bamboozled by the "AI safety" cultists.

Trump and his allies in local governments have been fighting to defund everything from health care to education — fights we’ve been covering at Truthout for as long as they’ve existed. But we can’t just work to protect existing public goods; we need to fuel the push for more.

We all know what “protect girls’ sports” means in the 2026 election cycle. DCCC coordinating on an ad using that language is unacceptable, and it gives other campaigns permission to follow. This is an inappropriate use of party resources. (1/3) www.erininthemorning.com/p/dccc-relea...

"As the post-2008 Left inches closer to a long-dreamed-of accession to state power, the shadow of state repression, even state terror, looms. Yet these parallel developments feel somehow distant from one another, rarely mentioned in the same conversations. How can we explain the gap?"

Masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers on Friday, setting olive groves on fire and slinging rocks. Caught in the attack was Post photographer Heidi Levine. “They just kept kicking me and kicking me, like probably 50 times,” Levine said. https://wapo.st/4yt6dHY
