I was on the telly.

Worrying scenes in the Channel today, for all interested in asylum policy and maritime tactics. A small boat from Normandy spent more than 30 hours at sea. Those on board now on their 2nd rescue vessel as Border Force forced to play cat and mouse with far-right activists who have their own boat.

They disinvented the VCR. You might think that the reason we don't have VCRs anymore is because VCRs were supplanted by DVDs, PVRs and streaming, but that's not the case. They had it in for the VCR from the very start, and they never stopped trying to kill it. Eventually, they succeeded. 1/

I picked up a 75-150 3.5 E Nikon lens at a 'junk/spares' table in Japan for about £10. Wasn't expecting much, the zoom is very sloppy and focus not far behind. For the price, worth a punt. Finally got around to a few snaps through it and not disappointed! #photography #nikon #eastcoastkin
