Missouri's Amendment 3 would restore an abortion ban with limited exceptions, but its ads focus on a different provision: banning gender transition care for minors. The campaign website never explicitly states it would repeal the constitutional right to abortion voters approved 2 years ago.

“Students really changed the whole political landscape of the country, and maybe even more important, they changed political imagination."

Two headlines literally on top of each other this morning: "Anthropic’s Claude AI model accessed Georgia voter data in US" "Anthropic files for listing on US stock market with valuation of more than $1.5tn" It's the American Way™.

Annoyed to discover Chief Adjuah played a set in town two hours ago for $5 and I didn't know.

I will also bully you into reading this book, for this and many reasons. But you can't borrow my copy because I already gave it away.

A $67 billion merger to create the world’s largest electric utility monopoly is about corporate greed. Dominion on its own is problematic enough. They’re suing Prince William County for not getting their way on supersizing a substation to power data centers despite so many residents opposing it.

There’s no merger with Dominion that’s good for ratepayers long-term. Even the $10/month credit for four years NextEra & Dominion are floating doesn’t end well: “SCC staff say when the credits expire, Dominion’s Virginia ratepayers will see a sharp jump in bills outpacing inflation.” No deal.

Structural racism is the Duke University campus having two polling spots meanwhile the students of North Carolina A & T State - an HBCU - had to walk 40 minutes to vote because their campus has no polling spot.

Literally dirt cheap

Doing it up tonight at Underbase (get in touch for address, northside RVA). There are also 6 other diy shows tonight. And however many events at legit venues. RVA fucking rules! Don't move here and ruin it like I did.

If you were unable to register to vote by today's deadline, fret not. You can still register and cast a ballot that will be counted: a provisional ballot. But what is a provisional ballot, anyway? And why does a voter cast one instead of a regular ballot?
