BREAKING: Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be held Thursday at 12:30pm ET at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, sources told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. It will be a double-header with the Atlanta Hawks’ game, which will be moved to 8pm.

May have missed announcing these, but FYI you can search by misses in the Data Explorer now (in the basic stats, as well as PTS off 2s and 3s and % of points from 2s, 3s, and FTs in the "Advanced" tab): u.acrossthetimeline.com/stat-mLmgr

In a record that we all should've known was going to be broken during this series, the Valkyries and Dream just combined for the most missed three-pointers in any playoff game in WNBA history, with 47. #WNBA

Golden State and Atlanta shot a combined 46-142 from the field tonight, making 32.4% of their field goals. Teams have combined to make less than a third of their field goals in just one other WNBA Finals Game: 1999 Game 3, when Houston and New York went a combined 32-107 (29.9%) from the field.

Long-time fans remember the 2015 lottery battle that ended in a 59-58 Stars win and landed the Storm top odds in the Breanna Stewart Draft. www.wnba.com/game/san-vs-... Stars coach Dan Hughes won the game, lost the lottery odds, but ultimately won when he took over as coach for Seattle in 2018.

Love this article. Talked to one of my friends who played on the Sol, and she says it all checks out. They treated players extremely well and embraced LGBTQ fans (neither were standard at the time), and then folded abruptly, which was sad and made us all worry about the stability of the league.

In her past 12 games, Veronica Burton has dished out 77 assists with just 9 turnovers. No other player in WNBA history has ever had a 12 game stretch that featured 10 or fewer TOs and even 60 assists. An unbelievable run at the point guard position. (stats via @acrossthetimeline.com)
