I think this would have been a sensible move. I wonder just home much of Downing Street is original, it was rebuilt during Macmillan's premiership and again extensively when Major was PM. I read somewhere it was 'Gerry built'. One of the advantages would be to enrage the Daily Mail.

Do the right thing, electorate of Israel and vote him out of Office and then ship him off to the International Criminal Court in the Hague.

Why is this poor guy, with 5 full-time public service jobs being prosecuted when those who provided unusable PPE or had Covid funding went free🤣?

I see that the front pages of the daily newspapers, with the exception of the Daily Mirrror, are ignoring that Baroness Hallett of the Covid Inquiry has reported that there was no protective ring around Care Homes in Covid and instead decide that Prince Harry and the Royal Family are more important.

Given these are private companies making profits out of the benefits system I wonder if Badenoch will be quite so keen to cut them out of the system?

I am not surprised at this. The LibDems should be riding high and achieving the share of the vote that the Greens got in Holborn. They should be the preference for voters in Conservative areas who don't want to vote Labour and find the two 'Re's' repugnant.

Will the Tory faithful cheer that the cost of new builds could reduce by £50,000, or realise that it will also reduce the value of the houses currently on the market, placing some 'nearly new' builds into negative equity?

Does this mean that Badenoch still thinks the local squire rallies his employees to go into battle? Does she think that the MOD is only part-time?

Solar has overtaken coal in China China now has 1,288GW of solar installed capacity, against coal's 1,285GW, a landmark moment for the world's biggest emitter. This is the first time coal's share dropped below 50% in electricity generation in China. www.reuters.com/business/ene...

Is this a different John Healey who resigned months ago because he was upset at Reeves not committing to 3%? Did he ever ask the question of MOD why do France spend less but achieve more. Perhaps he should have asked about having more admirals than ships.

Didn't Healey resign from the Starmer Government because he was dissatisfied about Defence spending? Why do I think this was just a political ploy to put Burnham in No10 and oust Reeves?

So much for the tidal wave about to break over British politics, this is a party that would struggle to run a bath. New Reform UK Defections & Resignations tracker now live 👇 bestforbritain.org/reform-uk-defections-resignations-tracker/

Not only do we need to addresss what we can grow ourselves but also ensuring we have water available for irrigation. Then the thorny question arises about agricultural labour which used to be so reliant on workers from EU countries. We forgot the lessons learned in WW2 when foreign supply was hard.

... and as crops fail, we haven't got enough fodder to feed ani🤣mals and the stand pipes stop giving water we will all have a drink of English wine and toast Dickie Tice
