First rewatch since 2015 release. Forgot how much fun this was. boxd.it/gikIeV

Why do I need to subscribe to my car? How did we get here?

Week 1 of #MIFF is in the books! 🎬 Thoroughly enjoyed The Beloved, Minotaur, I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning and All of a Sudden, but The Fox has easily been the biggest surprise for me so far. An absolute hidden gem. 🦊🍿 youtu.be/_XEZHlWlZ_o

Find me a better film to follow Minotaur with than John Wilson's The History of Concrete. I'll wait. #miff2026 #doublefeature

My out of office is on and #MIFF2026 is officially under way. Kicked off my experience last night with I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning. An emotionally charged experience anchored by phenomenal, raw performances. A great start - let's go! boxd.it/VzX7k

The most radical thing we can do right now isn't speak louder; it's listen harder. In an age of algos, outrage and echo chambers, we dont need more shouting, we need more stories. If your worldview survives only by avoiding other people's stories, it probably isn't much of a worldview. #miff2026

What a feast! Resurrection (2025)

100 films to watch before you die.... according to me. boxd.it/RMViK

📽 Watched a lot of movies this year (~200), so I'm ending it with a top 40 🎬 Letterboxd: boxd.it/QbMwA #filmsky #film #top2025

My god. Can someone please just give the guy a Nobel Peace Prize so he'll shut the fuck up?

Now Watching: The Surfer (2024). As someone who grew up in Western Australia, this is all accurate.

It's like a Freo scoreline! #ausvotes

All eyes on Dickson....... let's put the icing on the cake. #australiavotes

Defective platform? More like defective people using the platform.

Chuck Schumer right now:

I just saw this, so now you have to, too.

Just batshit insane that four 'justices' who thought Biden lacked authority to cancel student debt think Trump has authority to renege on lawfully contracted work already performed

Melbourne looks spectacular today, just quietly.

He's dead... wrapped in plastic 😢

I guess it's the time of year for lists... so here are my favourite 24 films of 2024 (and will be starting 2025 with Nosferatu). #filmsky boxd.it/yZz1W

I set myself a challenge in 2024 to see how many films I could watch in a single year. It turns out, around 200. These were the 25 I enjoyed the most, from someone who watched far too many (some classics, some new; some re-watches, some for the first time - all in no particular order). boxd.it/Bm7IM

Now watching "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In" boxd.it/yNla

BREAKING: Matt Canavan makes painfully obvious admission. The quality of news in this country fucking sucks.

Watched Anora and thought it was excellent. However, I've now become completely consumed by Gopnik culture. So, here's an amazing playlist. You're welcome. *dons Adidas tracksuit* #filmsky open.spotify.com/playlist/71l...

So, what are you into? Oh, you know... pretty much everything.

Can y'all please stop coming here to complain about how bad Twitter is? We already know, and aren't interested in hearing about your abusive relationship. It's time to dump his ass.

Caught Chime last night, and it has definitely stayed with me all day. It's worth hunting down if you're a fan of Kiyoshi Kurosawa (Pulse, Sure, etc.)... if you're not familiar with him, this might be a good place to start. #horror #filmsky

Things got outta hand there for a moment 🥵... Melbourne, I forgive you.

I'll excitedly sit through a bleak 6 hour long eastern european silent film about a man and his donkey... but I'll always come back to this campy horror nerd comfort movie classic. #filmsky

Well, this is helpful - a fascist filter! bsky.app/profile/did:...

I work in cyber security, and cyber security is as much about people as it is about technology. Here's a thing I wrote a while ago. How to patch a human medium.com/@Reluctant_U...

Took 3 full sittings, but finally finished this 6 hour monster last week. A unique achievement in avant garde filmmaking, or a sadistic social experiment financed by a morally questionable oligarch? I'm not sure what it says about me, but I thought it was great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DAU. Degeneration boxd.it/oRZo

The other place sucks. Let's get some movie recommendations going. Where are all the horror fans at? #filmnerds #horror
