Wild that I got to see You Can See Everything and then Wildwood two days later. And they both instantly shot up to my favorite and second favorite movies of the year.

Got my ass but to be fair you’re gonna learn this about me after talking to me for five minutes

Amazon users are discovering a bizarre "About You" page that reveals what the company thinks it knows about them One woman found Amazon had determined she "has flat buttocks"

Best show of the year last night by far. Die Spitz, Slayyyter, and Turnstile. Tons of energy all around. Felt like being at a concert in high school again, except for the part where my feet hurt today.

TIL that the opening of Onimusha 3 was directed by Takashi Yamazaki, director of Godzilla: Minus One! Sadly, nearly every upload of it is a stretched, GenAI abomination. So, I ripped and painstakingly upscaled what I consider the greatest video game cinematic ever from its 2007 PC release! Enjoy!

RIP PAC thank you for everything. The first Dynamite I attended was an insane iron man match between Kenny Omega and PAC. There will never be another PAC. #AEWDynamite

Maybe not “best” but I’m a huge fan of Down aka The Shaft. An evil elevator begins killing people in NYC and goes to places you will not forsee. I like the part where a whole elevator of pregnant women start giving birth while stuck on the elevator. Gilmore Girls Dad is in it too.

Best "so bad it's good" movies, can't say The Room or Spiderman 3

Literally saw PAC wrestle last night in person at All Out. Absolutely devastated to hear about his passing. He was an incredible talent and is gone far, far too soon. RIP PAC

That’s it for this trip to GG. Wanted to focus on playing through some games in the short time I had on this trip and I did that! And got my shirt finally.

In the Nintendo section of cabinets they had Arm Wrestling which I’ve never played. It was a bit like punch out with having to time your left and right pushes of the stick against what your opponent is doing. Really great pixel art too. Surprised I don’t hear more people talk about this game.

Forgot to take a picture but I also played through all of Laser Ghost. Early 90s light gun game that uses a 3D magnification mounted projection screen to immerse you into the game. It was really fun and impossible to properly emulate. Really cool monsters and you shoot pigeons.

Emergency Call Ambulance was … not fun. I’m not sure if it was the game itself or if the cabinet was messed up but if you messed up your turn, good luck. You just get stuck driving into a wall forever and can’t reverse. Think Crazy Taxi but someone is dying in the back.

Zombie Revenge is a beat em up game that lead to House of the Dead. Plays a little similar to Die Hard Arcade but with some very funny cut scenes. Played this one from start to finish and loved every minute of it

This is I think my fourth visit to Galloping Ghost and was the first time they had shirts in my size and first time the Beavis and Butthead cabinet was working. Played through the first stage and yep, it’s not great! I’ll play through this on an emulator one day.

Tucker is doing some absolutely incredible work and it’s honestly so inspiring. If you care about the craft of video games and the people behind it, give his videos a watch.

Used to just be that regular news was depressing but video game news was generally fun. Now they’re both depressing and I wish to avoid both.
