Saving this for later - If I am lucky enough to snag a steam vr headset and have the time to learn modding xD

Finally playing the NomaiVR mod by @raicuparta.com and artumino on the Frame and it’s so surreal to play Outer Wilds like this.

Been playing a lot more of No Man's Sky lately, especially on the ROG XBox Ally X, and it is one of those games that endlessly reminds me that game developers are absolute wizards with how such a smol device can pack so much universe.

Got this last night on the Nintendo Switch 2 and it is just pure joy and I can't wait to have friends over to rage bait with all the jank this game packs in.

Seeing the talks about Marathon player numbers and a novel thought came to mind about how this could be true in cannon for the games events too. Runners see how horrifying and difficult it is to make a profit in Tau Ceti IV and decide to nope out and bail on their contractual obligations.

With discussions surrounding current budgets for AAA video games, I genuinely want to know if we are in some weird chicken or egg situation where what came first, console makers and publishers boasting about improved graphics or if consumers demands for better graphics lead to this current climate.

The Bungie/Sony rumour mill at the moment is a real bummer. If Destiny is being killed out of spite by Sony top brass then what does that say about how they run other arms of their businesses? I've always loved their technology and innovations while keeping legacy features but this sours things. 1/2

Is it because of this that they have kept around headphone jacks and other features in their phones? Is this spiting the phone industry like how they are allegedly spiting Bungie? Coz these features are costly and their phones don't make a lot of money so business sense doesn't math but spite does.

I am hoping to be a bit better with making videos in future, already keen for making a proper opinion video when I get a hold of the full release and comparing it to the server slam, but the depth of detail won't be technical since I am well out of my depth there.

Amid the stuff currently going down with Ubisoft, just wanna take a beat to say I really think their swing with Assassin's Creed Shadows is a hit. I enjoy it so deeply and have things I wish it did better because it shines so often that the blemishes really stick out. 3 things I wish it did are:

2. The minigames are often very boring. The pattern games have no bearing on gameplay outside of those activities and aren't interesting enough to stand on their own. Would prefer challenges specific to each character's strength such as a quick time parkour or bull run through walls instead.

3. Back to seasons, I wish the weather changes had more impact. Swimming during winter should drain health since there are no stamina bars in-game. Choice in armour would also impact differently depending on the weather.

To further stick my nose in foreign affairs, I think that MAGA could almost break out as an independent party in coalition with the Republicans like the Nationals and Liberal party over in Australia. The language used by Drumpf says to me either it's what he thinks or is angling for.

Sheer amounts of greed, stupidity and putting politics over people was the news being woken up to by a lot of the world today. The orange lard never cared to make America great again. The oaf just wanted more money, more power and to play dictator like his best buds do. It's a betrayal & a heist.

Just finished up Wolfenstein Young Blood and its not a great time or a long time but it has really amazing moment and the general gameplay, weapons andattention to detail in level design are all fantastic and offers a easy sandbox to jump into a blast Nazi scum whenever in the mood for it.

"Mycopunk is a chaotic co-op romp with silly robots, outlandish upgrades, and dismemberment" via @Eurogamer Play the demo on Steam and recruit friends to play online with by repeating that quote word for word. 🤖

Actually really surprised and happy with how Trials of Osiris plays now. I think a real sense of triumph over the odds has been lost with the changes but the overall experience is so much more enjoyable. No more getting frustrated by team mates that leave or cheaters or just bad luck. #Destiny2

Desperately want a third in the series to be released. Such an amazing world and creative grame. A damn shame Sony decided to bank roll live service games that they then cancelled instead of allowing the original creators of this gem to have the space to continue making more of their art.
