I have concluded the main scenario for In Falsus. That is exactly what I needed right now. In my mind, this is possibly the most beautiful rhythm game / visual novel I have ever played.

Alright. Going out on a limb and truly opening myself up to someone for the first time in a very... very... long time. I'm finally ready for that. I just hope the person at the other end is willing to listen.

#InFalsus I am completely baffled by my own arrogance on this one. I was for sure I was discovering everything in one go on this one. So confident, yet so wrong.

Did Epic Games basically just admit that they can no longer code anymore? Cause that's what I am getting from that statement.

My work week is likely to be insane. Once the worst of the insanity is over, going to finalize my stream set up so I can start streaming multiple days each week. Expect that to start at some point during this week.

Spent my afternoon working a bit on a Lego thing and then doing some creative morning. Spent my morning working on tech stuff. Got my laundry all done and put away. Managed to get some good deals on snacks as well. Pretty productive day. Three days of hell and two days of hopeful progress ahead.

To be fair, I mean hell in mostly the social aspect. I do like my job and the company I work for. It's just a lot, and I am going to have to be doing a lot of talking over these few days.

It needs some work, but here's my first channel profile banner for the Twitch channel. Definitely need to work on some lighting. I want to add more of a "glitchy-ness" to the background and make the letters stand out a bit more so more darkness behind the lettering. It's a work in progress though.

Decided on a whim yesterday to get my flu shot and also got some other shots that I needed. Oh boy have I felt like crap for the past 24 hours. Starting to come out of that though.

Why do companies pay for Atlassian given the sheer amount of downtime it suffers? Confluence is inaccessible again this morning and is constantly down in the mornings. Atlassian doesn't seem interested in fixing the problem either.

Played pretty aggressively in this run and managed to complete S-Hard without a single continue. I only had three stages that ran over a minute. Getting used to using a PS5 controller to play PDP. Somehow, it just works well for my hands.

I've been out of touch for a bit. I didn't realize Nick Johnston joined Mastodon. I've been listening to this new album and my mind has been genuinely blown. No wonder! Marrow Deep KILLS it.

Mental state back in the red. Work stress, summer cold, seasonal affective disorder striking strongly. I know all of this will pass, but not anytime soon. I have The Downward Spiral and Further Down the Spiral to keep me sane. Don't ask me how that works, it just does.

Needed to finish transferring a domain from Namesilo this morning, but it seems like they broke their entire website overnight. I've still got more to transfer next month; that's going to be painful, isn't it?

I love watching CEOs being absolute buffoons. We are seeing it more and more and more proving that the main role that AI can replace is the executive role. Saber Interactive is the latest casualty of that.

Mornings like this one remind me that I need to get out of Indiana. This place is just depressing, lmao. Apartment complex I am in has big trucks that love to use the handicap parking overnight without handicap plates. There's also no loading space to be able to load things up for moving.

If I were planning to move and wanted to start this morning, there would be no reasonable place for me to park a truck somewhere to start loading things into. Not even a small one. There are no open spots. Really bad planning.

Short-term, I am probably going to move up to south Michigan or something like that. Long-term, I am likely going to actually move across the country to somewhere that feels less like **THIS**.

My new hobby right now is finding people who are hopelessly addicted to AI with no original thought of their own to study the psychosis they undergo. It's fascinating stuff.

Valve really needs to get their collective shit together. We're seeing more and more cases where independent developers are being harmed by Valve's inability to actually approve games in a rational amount of time. Developers are sending the builds at the right time; Valve is just way too behind.

i do not want the games industry to recover. i want something new to be built atop its now ashen foundation and i want those who previously brought ruin, rot, and misery to be outside looking in as they give up and seek some other well to poison

To think all of these prices are going up because of components being sold to AI companies who will never actually use them since nothing is actually really happening.
