right now there's no guarantee AI usage becomes embedded in indie games. We're a scene. We don't HAVE to be this. Individual choices couldn't matter more in this moment. To see that you can make a small, positive impact at mild inconvenience to yourself and say "nah" is to give up on a better world.

Reminds me of 6th grade home EC where we made some pizza-like thing in an oven, and we were instructed to set it for 10 minutes. My group understandably ours to 10:00. Just before the bell we wondered why ours wasn't done, checked, found out the timer was in HH:MM. (We didn't burn down the school)
Know what, this ain't terrible? Decided using snow, light blue, and cyan was too thick and crowded out the sculk, so just cyan to make it look like a dimensional vortex seems fine? The back also doesn't have anything on it, but nobody lives north of me and the thick fog obscures it at a distance.
It's also not *supposed* to be a perfect shape (given that it's the manifestation of chaotic thaumaturgy that's been forced to stabilize via an alternate method by people reverse-engineering the implementation) but it's like... I notice when something isn't as convex as intended?

Like, I cannot stress enough, I went into Dietrich's route fully expecting Zenos Yae Galvus (and I loathed him so much because his whole motivation was fighting). On the one hand, I'm so glad I was wrong. On the other hand, now I wish I'd saved him for last, but I couldn't possibly have known.
