To ensure they can cheat some more he’s paid for three seats so they can say they’re full.

Pep Guardiola is in attendance at the Etihad for Manchester City’s first home match following the guilty verdict 👀

Also, that refereeing performance is a fucking joke. Guehi had Koumas in a fucking bear hug at one point and we didn’t get a foul. The two decisions on Grav are a joke. Football can fuck off.

These points mean nothing. This team is built on a success unearned. It’s been bought. 15 years of corruption have made a mockery of that club, this competition and the Premier League as an organisation. Null and void the season. See you next year.

Wirtz is gonna really get himself in trouble one of these days with his non-commital attitude to 50/50’s. He should be flying into them, if anything, to protect himself. Like that one with Anderson, he could win the ball, take the man & it’ll make Anderson think twice. He’s too easily dominated.

Can’t wait for them to be found guilty at appeal and then watch this baldy tit trying to squirm his way out of all this nonsense he’s spouting. He’s as big a fucking cheat as the rest of them.

🗣️ Enzo Maresca asked if he feels Manchester City's achievements are tainted? "Absolutely not..." Q: Did you speak to Sheikh Mansour? "I spoke with the club, for sure, and we trust [the club]. Probably the right moment to speak about that is when we are going to win this appeal.”

Wanna bet yeah cheating c*nt! Your club lied about their income and spent over €300million that summer, with a net loss of about €225million. You should have still been at Spurs you daft twat!

Lots of things to be happy with there, but Wirtz continues to disappoint. On the positive side though, Jacquet, Barcola, Gakpo, Macca and Isak all looking sharp and Virg and Alisson seem calmer and happier. Up the Reds!

It’s going to take a while for these players to be able to turn round as quickly as we need them to. Last seasons lack of serious training & less than enthusiastic match play has left us way short & we just don’t seem to be able to be as effective match to match. We’ll improve as we go.

You can have quality in the front four, but if the midfield can’t win it, control it or move it with purpose, the attacking collective becomes far less effective. It’s not about criticising Wirtz or any individual player; it’s about the balance and the profiles around him.

There’s no real destroyer who can sense danger, win the ball and protect the defence, no tempo setter who can dictate the rhythm, and no volume passer who can keep the game moving and consistently supply the attack

they give trump a run for his money on how much shite the talk explaining how they shafted someone again

If it was, Gakpo would have gotten one on Friday, he didn’t. The inconsistency in refereeing is predicated on the inconsistency in the use of VAR. To say it wasn’t a penalty, but the threshold wasn’t met is nonsense, the threshold should be ‘is the decision correct?’. It’s referee incompetence.

Dale Johnson@dalejohnsonbbc.bsky.social

Nottingham Forest should not have been awarded a penalty at Liverpool for Alisson's challenge on Neco Williams, the KMI Panel has said. But the KMI Panel also added that it did not reach the threshold for the VAR to overturn the on-field decision. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

VAR in Stockley Park should be run and controlled by independently trained and managed referee auditors, not by the men getting it wrong on the pitch week in and week out. There also needs to be a more stringent referee review panel with effective financial punishment for poor performance.

So, if I understand Nigel Farage's argument correctly it is: "Everyone I trusted and elevated into a position of responsibility is constantly doing crimes that benefit me but of which I somehow have no knowledge. I am a man with the character, judgement, and intelligence to run the country." Ok.

Hands like dinner plates.

🚨 OFFICIAL: Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign 18 year old goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans from Genk, club confirms. The 18-year-old will remain at the Belgian side on loan for this campaign before moving to Anfield ahead of the 2027-28 season.

Another season of horrendous refereeing. Terrible decision after terrible decision. Will anything be done. No. Possibly the only job we’re as a professional you can continue to fail without consequence. Everyone makes mistakes, but prolonged mistake making is ineptness.

If we get Pardo and Minteh that would be fine for the wide areas and good enough to let Gakpo go although to a rival in this country is fucking madness. We still need a right back and a DM though. We need a tough tackling, no nonsense leader in the middle of the park. Alan Varela?

It's just taken a month or so to agree a deal with PSG - we are really being too tight with the squad limit, especially with Elliott going & we're open to selling Chiesa which you know for a fact there will be a loan offer on deadline day

Fucking Madness. We’re 4 short for me. Selling Gakpo, means we need 5. No way we get 5 over the line. We’re under pressure, all self-inflicted and to be where we are 14 months after being champions is a disgraceful set of circumstances.

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Cody Gakpo decides to join Manchester City & parties now working to reach agreement. 27yo faced 3-way choice after #LFC signed Bradley Barcola; stay or Tottenham Hotspur also options. Signs of life. Never a pen. Great from Munoz. Wirtz played well. Barcola adds a bit more verticality, but the full backs aren’t up to it and they need someone who will take charge of that midfield.
