I watched clips from Tesla's stunt show last night and if I were a shareholder I'd be incandescently angry. The only reason they're wasting money on engineering that silliness ( let's be honest, nobody is getting a car that can "fly" or stick to an upside down road )

is because the CEO is so hopped up on K that he keeps promising insane shit and he wants to look like he can deliver. If he was doing his GD job, he'd be overseeing the actual engineering of a deliverable vehicle for the people that put down at least $50k for one,

Rather than returning the deposits and putting on a show. I feel pretty certain that Tesla's engineers could have delivered a pretty amazing car by now if their fascist CEO wasn't eating time with this shit. IMHO, it's obvious mismanagement, but they're apparently mostly in the cult.

I bought one of these and I keep finding it in one of my kids rooms, watching them get dressed. I move it back to the living room and next day? Hiding in one of their rooms. Weird.

Ya think?

NBC reports that Trump gets a short daily highlight reel "of the biggest, most successful strikes on Iranian targets over the previous 48 hours." "But the video briefing is fueling concerns among some of Trump’s allies that he may not be receiving — or absorbing — the complete picture of the war."

@scalzi.com In celebration of Tom Lehrer.

With Tom Lehrer's passing, I suppose this is a moment to share the story of the prank he played on the National Security Agency, and how it went undiscovered for nearly 60 years.

You are up to date.
