This is now wrapped up. I'll be reaching out to the winners as soon as I can.
Here's something a little exciting. I have two tickets to give away for the Sunshine Coast Fiction Festival and entering couldn't be easier. All you need to do is reply to this post with your FAVOURITE BOOK and you're in for a chance to win. #BookSky #WriteSky
BONUS: If you pre-order any of my books from their website before 25 September, and you’re drawn as the winner, your tickets will be upgraded to VIP. beventi.co/orderform/ts...
#SongsOfSeptember 8 I really have two many focal characters for this to be feasible. I keep it to a playlist per series/world and just refer to those when needed.
#SongsOfSeptember Day 8 Technical Question! Do you do individual playlists for characters or couples, or do you put everything on one big playlist? Or maybe per book, if you do a series? Don't forget to tag!
#SongsOfSeptember 7 If this were a jukebox musical, I think Queen Cecilia would probably sing parts of Ash Again a few times, before having the full song as a duet with Artorius during the climax.
#SongsOfSeptember Day 7 Musical Monday! If your story was a musical, what's one of the songs your characters would sing? It could be a solo for someone, a cast song, a duet--have fun with it~ You can pick a song you think fits or even make up a title to fit your characters! Don't forget to tag!
#SongsOfSeptember 6 This actually fits a lot of characters throughout the series, but what happens to Andula at the beginning of book 2 probably fits best.
#SongsOfSeptember Day 6 Sunday Scenes: Is there any song that fits your story's beginning? Share it here~ Don’t forget to tag your post!
I listened to this multiple times while writing the last chapter of book 1 featuring Raph and Nath. Their story in that book isn't strictly romantic, but the vibe of the song really helped me get into the tone of the scene. #SongsOfSeptember 5
#SongsOfSeptember Day 5 Let's Duet: Share a song that fits a major couple in your story. Don't have any romantic couples? Feel free to make all of these platonic! Just pick one strong relationship for it. And don't forget to tag! And uh, sorry for the late post! I dozed off.
#SongsOfSeptember 4 A Good Song Never Dies by Saint Motel. I heard it playing at the cinema recently and remembered I'd heard it before but forgotten to add it to my playlist. So now it is.
#SongsOfSeptember Day 4 What’s the most recent song you added to your playlist and why? Feel free to interpret 'most recent' however! It could be before the prompt game started, most recent on a certain playlist (if you have multiple), etc. Don’t forget to tag your post!
#SongsOfSeptember 3 Paris Paloma's 'The Rider' was the initial inspiration for Leonora as a character I played in DnD and eventually evolved into an important figure throughout The Doomsday Mosaic.
#SongsOfSeptember Day 3 Character Song: Main Character. Give us a song that fits them. Could be in lyrics, feel, because you listen to it when writing them, etc~ Don’t forget to tag your post! And while it's not required, I very much appreciate youtube links for adding it to the master playlist~
#SongsOfSeptember 2 There's never one song that can encapsulate an entire story or book, espeically with so many characters with very different motives and arcs, but Compass by Mili is one I come back to a lot regarding a main plot point that surrounds a few characters.
#SongsOfSeptember Day 2 What's a song you heavily associate with your story? It could be for the plot, the main character, the main conflict--just one you feel fits it well~ I'll add the full month list below if you want to make sure you don't use a song you want to save for later!

Hello #SongsOfSeptember I'm AJ Anderson and I'm currently editing my second book. I've had many 'favourite' songs over the years, but Do I Wanna Know? is one I come back to a lot. Phantom Liberty is also a contender. Neither are on my writing list because they don't really fit the vibe (yet).
#SongsOfSeptember: Day 1 Welcome! Introduce yourself, tell us what you're working on, and your favorite song. Bonus: Is your favorite song on your story's playlist? Why or why not?
I hate that this is the first I'm hearing of this being a thing. Feels like something that shouldn't have flown so easily under the radar for so long.
SCOOP: 404 Media placed a tracking device in a shipment of rare books to see which AI company was buying it. What did we find? It ended up at an Amazon facility where Amazon scans and destroys books. Yes. This is literally the logo outside the Amazon warehouse door. Read now:
Life really does find a way... ...to kill itself... eventually
We are on the verge of a climatic upheaval greater than any of us can imagine. Global leaders and media aren't paying attention. They are focused on a series of self-inflicted crises that have left us dangerously vulnerable and totally unprepared. My latest. charlieangus.substack.com/p/what-keeps...

To those going to the Sunshine Coast Fiction Festival this year. I will be in attendance as an author, with two books on offer. Figured I should probably post my pre order form here in case anyone else going was interested to check some stuff out before the day. beventi.co/orderform/ts...

Right now I'm working at Book 2 of the Doomsday Mosaic, which should be good to release late August. I have a preview of that on my website, as well as one for my first book. And if either of those strike your fancy, you can pick up that book below: books2read.com/definedbydam... #TBBChat
Thanks for the great chat! Now’s the time you can tell us anything you want. Got a project to promote? Let us know in the comments! We’ll have a fresh new chat next week for #TBBChat. Until next time! #BookBazaar26
Back when the weather was less cold, I would sit outside and write of a morning. I have a specific playlist for any stories I write within this world, but sometimes I'd just let it go through my regular playlist as well and that would be just as helpful at times. #TBBChat #WriteSky
TBB Chat Q5: What’s your ideal cozy writing set-up? Where are you, what ambience or music is playing, what are you up to? #TBBChat #BookBazaar26 #Writing #Writesky
I've kind of always wanted to cosplay Ben Solo from The Rise of Skywalker after he's come back to the light. He's literally just wearing black pants and a black long sleeve shirt, so it'd be the easiest cosplay of a character I like that I could possibly pull off. #TBBChat
TBB Chat Q4: If you were to cosplay one of your favorite characters, what clothing, accessories, and cosmetics would you need? #TBBChat #BookBazaar26 #Writing #Writesky
For the longest time, my answer would have been no, but the night before last I did have a dream with the villain of my current WIP in it. Nothing else about the dream's premise had anything to do with my own work, but Echidna was there and she was as threatening as ever. #TBBChat #WriteSky
TBB Chat Q3: Do you ever dream about your characters? #TBBChat #BookBazaar26 #Writing #Writesky
Tough one... I think as far as sheer strangeness of source goes, I think I'd have to say the Bible? The inspirations are very surface level, but they did give me some ideas for what my next book will be about, and the way it'll be structured. #TBBChat #WriteSky
TBB Chat Q2: What’s the strangest place you’ve ever drawn story or character inspiration from? #TBBChat #BookBazaar26 #Writing #Writesky
