It should be illegal for campaign funds or PACs to buy ads, send unsolicited messages, or send mailers about anything other than the candidate and policies they're backing. What's even wilder is when these candidates won't even show up to debate the person they're smearing!

Just to reframe this: • Your taxes subsidized the infrastructure that was strategically manipulated to help Russia invade Ukraine • Your taxes have heavily subsidized Ukraine's defense • Your cost of living is higher due to sanctions • The US deficit is now at $2 trillion

Cold Stone Creamery considers anyone that uses the term, "Large", as opposed to the highly accepted and more accurate term, "Gotta Have It®", THE ENEMY!

82% of electronics are tested in China. I'm the first person to tell you that safety testing in an adversarial nation is a problem, but banning it with no alternative certification path will just immediately result in a massive increase of untested gray-market imports and "DIY kits".

I found some JS8Call and DECT signals, and people seem to be talking about soccer and vulgarly joking about the plague and ineptitude of the Russian government. This is a relief as all of this would be jammed if there was some type of mass quarantine or information blockade.

I found an open web portal to control an SDR in Irkutsk, Siberia. The FT8 traffic is some of the busiest I've ever seen, with loads of callsigns in the immediate region. This tells us nothing about the plague situation😂but what a fun and lucky find. Onward to see if I can find unencrypted comms.

I don't speak Russian, so this is either a Siberian military dispatcher announcing the arrival of a zombie-variant of the plague or a mom talking next to a baby monitor.

Good question. The answer is yes, you should stock up on canned food and water right now. If you can afford it, off-grid power, fuel, and radio comms. I tell anyone this whether or not a potential bioweapon event was happening. These are standard safety measures for hurricanes, power outages etc.

benn. should i go and buy tons of water and canned foods right now? i dont trust anyone, google is compromised. I am guessing you know stuff. its ok if it turns out its a nothingburger but i dont know who to trust.

Even if none of these events ever take place, it's peace of mind at very little expense. My solar panels/batteries charge my devices daily. I use my rain barrels for livestock water and reusable gray water. Canned food is rotated and consumed.

Biological War: A Scenario is about... ...wait for it... ...the extremely concerning possibility of a weaponised pneumonic plague strain leaking from a lab in Siberia.

This post is unavailable.

I'm actually pretty freaked out about this. An actual plague bioweapon makes nuclear war seem desirable, and Russia has been developing plague bioweapons for decades.

🚨 NEWS: A 28-year-old researcher at a Russian anti-plague institute has died following a suspected lab accident in Siberia. Nearly 200 people are reportedly under observation and hospitals have been quarantined amid concerns over possible pneumonic plague.

I'm so bored of YouTubers examining other YouTubers and then removing context to create controversy. 1. His channel frames up contemporary news on a weekly basis. He's not publishing sci-fi novels. 2. Find me a Patrick Boyle video in the last 3 years that doesn't consistently credit sources.

Damn, @pboyle.bsky.social. Some serious allegations questioning your academic integrity are lodged in this video. Maybe you should attempt to answer them? youtu.be/Za5IfIbWNEk?...

Right now, on both sides of the ALPR/Flock debate, companies and legislators are urging researchers and policy-writers to pump out papers they can point to. I'm asking CrimRxiv to increase their publishing standards on incomplete studies. www.bennjordan.com/blog/researc...

bennjordan.comAn open letter to crimrxiv — Benn JordanAt this point, virtually anyone working in the research field can merely glance at Flock’s original white paper and know that there’s not a grain of salt large enough to take it with. For starters,...

This has resulted in a draft paper with clear statistical illusions, confounding causality, and unverified data being referenced as if it were vetted and published criminology research. In my opinion it's an enormous disservice to CrimRxiv's invaluable library of resources.

It would've been easy to bash Flock in Senate today, but the reality is that this crisis would've not happened had there been any form of regulation or guard rails. So, let's demand them. And let's vote with the same ferocity we post with.

Axon is a profitable company with a strong cash flow. They may clear $4 billion this year. So it was surprising to read about their plan to borrow a billion dollars via convertible equity that matures in 2031. The only sensible reason for this would be a big acquisition. 🫠

If you're a successful content creator, you can't really opt-out of using a social media service. Happy I don't have to pay someone to edit my content for TikTok, I guess. 😂

Andy Masley, who is literally paid via grants from AI investors, can "write" 85 pages of text on Substack and spend 8 months insulting anyone researching infrasound, but "doesn't have time" to participate in a single real time conversation, joint-interview, or field-demonstration he's been offered.

I welcome criticism to my videos, and I've even proposed sharing information and working with Coefficient Giving as solving datacenter noise pollution benefits everyone, including those invested in them. But harassing and lying about people isn't "effective altruism". thenextweb.com/news/coeffic...

@albrgr.bsky.social I'm more than happy to have a call with you about this, as your grant money may be paying someone to write wildly inaccurate and defamatory articles that are being cited by corporate attorneys against plaintiffs with very real and devastating health effects.

Update: They're using Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 pedestrians to tell you that you only dislike datacenters and warrantless surveillance because China and leftists have manipulated you to feel that way.

For years we've been screaming from the mountain tops about how insanely dangerous mandatory ID verification is. Now that half the country is doxxed, it would be a good time to take note of the politicians who didn't listen.
