Fidelity to the Administration, not the statutes or the Constitution: and again, the problem is that like all censorship regimes, it places pressure on the advice people are willing to give in dangerous or sensitive circumstances.

The Trump Administration, both the first and second, has spent YEARS chasing this phantom fraud. Remember the Pence voter fraud commission that fizzled in Trump 1.0? All the failed court cases after the 2020 election?

THEY ARE NOT POWERLESS TO STOP HIM! Go back to Washington, stand on the steps of the Capitol and demand Johnson and Thune recall the House and Senate, and impeach him. THIS IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK! THERE IS LITERALLY AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL! (It's called the Constitution.)

Republican lawmakers are incensed about Trump's dismissal of Ukraine — and powerless to stop him. That frustration hit a new peak on Monday as they sought to address Trump’s decision to purchase Russian diesel, waive sanctions on Moscow, and potentially stop sharing intelligence with Ukraine.

Elon Musk is a threat to democracy both here at home and abroad. He ordered the slowdown of the military version of Starlink, which the Ukrainians need in their war of survival against the Russian invaders. And then Musk lied about it on his X, the extremist sewer that was once known as Twitter.

wsj.comExclusive | Musk Ordered Starlink Slowdown That Blindsided UkraineThe SpaceX founder authorized the move and has been discussing Ukraine with Trump, but the president has denied ordering the restrictions.

They both did it, it was a joint effort, it’s one of the crazier things to happen in the national security space (which is really saying something) and every government should be scrambling to reduce dependence on—and as soon as possible get off—Starlink/shield or any Musk product, including the US.

Add this to the long list of Trump business failures and scams. But his endless grifts profiting off the presidency over the past decade has still increased his net worth exponentially, and he’s already made tons of cash off people who invested in this.

Imagine if, four years after invading Iraq, we controlled only 20% of it and had suffered 1.3 million casualties. Would anyone call that “winning”? Of course not. But when it’s Russia, we’re supposed to believe Putin holds all the cards.

The US and the West welcomed Russia into the community of nations after the Cold War. Investment poured in. The G7 turned into G8. The idea that Poland, Estonia, etc. forming their own foreign relations was so unfair to Moscow that Russia is entitled to murder Ukrainians 20 years later is insane.

Ron Johnson blames US for Putin invading Ukraine: "The way we treated Russia after we won the Cold War, how we pushed them. I'm not defending Putin, but we said we were not gonna move NATO one inch to the east. We brought it right to their doorstep basically. What did we think Putin was gonna do?"
