Alex Woodroe

Looks like the vibes are strong with this one! TATRATEA, my weird-eco-gothic-horror-cosmic-SF-post-apocalyptic fever dream of a book is out today, and readers seem to be getting out of it exactly what I was hoping for and more. Thank you for listening. We're all on this one way trip together🌱

Happy release day to Alex! ❤️

So, this looks like fun...

While I never planned for it, for the past year, going to choke, throw, drag, twist, and flip human bodies around twice a week has become one of the pillars that keeps the editor, writer, and publisher brain sane and strong. And it was an honor and a pleasure to get to talk about it with this crew❤️

It was an absolute joy to have @alexwoodroe.com of @tenebrouspress.bsky.social press on to Secretly Sporty this week! She talked about living in Transylvania, studying a form of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and recounted some (terrifying) Romanian folklore. Check it out! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/s...

Came back on here today to say yes the vibes are strong with this one!

We love celebrating Tenebrous authors but frankly, we're pretty terrible at celebrating ourselves. So I—Matt—am cashing in my annual Tenebrous self-promotion chip on behalf of Alex & telling y'all: If you❤️what we do, you need TATRATEA. Alex has outdone herself & crafted a Weird masterpiece🖤☠️ Get⬇️

TATRATEA is loose! Post-Apoc-Gothlyptic Weird Cli-Fi Horror from my favorite writer @alexwoodroe.com Never woulda thought murderous telepathic flora & a Madness Virus would make me want to dance so cheerily thru the doom, but here we are. Seriously masterful. Get it: tinyurl.com/2bfny3f9

I adored this book. You should check it out if you are into weird shit.

If you're looking for a Boulerice recommendation for a book that will occasionally crawl up the back of your unguarded neck to remind you about how unsettled you were while you were first reading it several years after the fact, Tatratea is for you. Alex OUTDID herself with this one

You guys this book is weird and wild and incredible, you have to read it 🖤❤️🖤 Happy book birthday, Alex!!

Pattick Barb is running unopposed for the position of President for the Horror Writer's Association. So far there's still been no acknowledgement of Theo's statement

Hi. Everything I want to say it at the following link, which contains why I think Patrick Barb should not be HWA President. I'm going to step away from socials for a few hours now, and will see you all later. 🫀 CW: sexual misconduct. theodorehill.weebly.com/statement.html
