We’ve had our first pet death in the family, Oscar Jr the beta fish. He was calm to the point of being called lazy. He loved to lay among the branches of his favorite plant. He is now back in the rice paddy in the sky.

Ummm, what is this magic? Boys slept till we HAD to wake them up at 7. Everyone was calm and had breakfast. Then we got them dressed. My husband took them to school. And I got to take a shower!!! In the morning! Now relaxing with my breakfast before logging in to work.

My Mabon has been really pleasant. Very calm and balanced which I haven’t felt in a while. Definitely, settling into fall.

Rachel is in need of support and really gave her whole heart to paying people’s rent this year, so let’s make sure we take care of her, please!

I’m really inspired for my October journal spreads. Each week, I’m drawing the accessories to a Halloween costume: -Witch (hat & broom) -Georgie (SS Georgie boat, yellow rain boots, & a red balloon) -Indiana Jones (Fedora & Whip) -Ghostface (mask & knife) -5th week TBD I’m excited to share soon.

Rainy day today. I’m thinking during Russell’s nap, I’ll pick up the bedroom and then color while drinking tea.

Very pleased with my October spreads so far. Month cover features the mouse from “When You Give a Mouse a Cookie,” and a jack-o-lantern. Spooky Watch list will be filled in soon. Figuring out a good blend of family friendly and horror.

I’m really proud of how my spreads turned out. Week 1 is a little Thanksgiving coded but my next color palette is better for Week 2.

When you check who the parent company of your coleslaw is packaged at… we’re in the clear, thankfully.

Already made my first “happy”mistake, I switched my season spread page and my birthday spread page. Now I’m featuring the Fall birthdays as its own thing, which is fine. More space and bigger font for people’s names.

Just got my first bullet journal today & I’m slowly filling it in. I’m a little shy to go straight to pens & markers yet, but that will come w/ time. My sons are 4 & 2, so I thought my monthly cover page would be a symbol for the month & then a corresponding character from a book they love.

Today is a treat yourself day. Between first day of school feelings and Microsoft remote office not working, I deserve something calming. Getting a sushi bowl.

Tonight I made sweet potato gnocchi with whiskey cream sauce. I always underestimated how much time it takes to put the pasta together.

Big step today! Oscar is wearing normal toddler underwear, no pull ups. He has been doing well going potty when pants-less and staying dry (for the most part) with pull ups. Hoping for a good day.
