Today we did our last spopky season game night. We played Betrayal at the House on the Hill with the It expansion. Then played Mansions of Madness, which we will wrap up the next time we meet. #boardgames

Got 3 fames in so far today. We won Spirit Island. Captain Flip was close. And I won Tokaido Duel. Still up is Power Grid and something TBD. #boardgames

This afternoon we got in a game of Horrified, we failed miserably. Fighting the Jersey Devil and Ozark Howler in the same game is not reccommed. Then we lost defending the Island in Spirit Island. #boardgames

It has been a rather dry month or so for games. So it was nice to get a couple of great ones played tonight. Cthulhu Death May Die was close to getting through Season 1 Episode 1. Then a game of The White Castle with the Matcha expansion. I won by 1 point. #boardgames

It was good to get back to our regular game night after having to make an unplanned trip back to Ontario. We played Fury of Dracula, Dojo, and LotR The TwobTowers The Trick Taking Game. #boardgames

Was able to play a few games with a friend today. Sonora (not a fan), Medici vs Strozzi a great 2 player game. Crusaders: Thy Will Be Done, another goodie. And a victory in Spirit Island. #boardgames

Another fun night of games and friends. We kicked off spooky season with Camp Grizzly, a fun game that riffs on horror tropes. Then we managed to get through 5 chapters of LotR The Two Towers Trick Taking Game. #boardgames

Tonight we played a scenario in Arkham Horror tcg. This one the writing was on the wall near the end and had to resign. Then we played Gold West, an intersting point salad game with a rondel type action selection. #boardgames

Had a friend over to play a couple of games. We played Medici vs Strozzi. And Horrified Universal Monsters. I won the first game as Medici, and together we won against Wolfman and the Invisivle Man. #boardgames

4 of us played a game of This War of Mine the Board Game. This was a rough game. We lost when all our characters perished. I really like the narrative aspect of this one. #boardgames

Next we played Hadara, wasn't a huge fan but it had an interesting selection mechanic. Then we finished with Power Grid, Europe Map against the Robot. Not a huge fan of the bot but it makes a 2 player game more dynamic. #boardgames

Two games in this afternoon. First up was Pergola, a set collection game where you have multiple different sets that can be made. Then Calico a pattern game, that is so much harder than you think it might be. #boardgames

Things have picked up a bit in August. Biggest surprise was Star Trek Captain's Chair. And enjoying Cozy Stckerville as a family. Let's see what September has in store. #boardgames

We played a game of Dune Imperium Uprising. I won 14 points (this comes with an asterisk). We will strive to get it to the table again soon. Forgot to take a picture, so the box cover will have to do. #boardgames

Played my first game of Star Trek Captains Chair. Love this game after just one play. I know my friend and I will be playing this with some frequency. #boardgames

This afternoon we got three more games in the books. We were massacred in Spirit Island. I had a sudden win during the third party of LotR Duel as Sauron. And then came out on top in White Castlw with Matcha expansion. #boardgames

Wrapped up the evening with a two player game of Cascadia Alpine Lakes. Really like the spacial puzzle this one offers by including height. #boardgames

After dinner we playedb3 Witches. And interesting 3 player trick taking game. I'm not totally sold on this one. Then I came out victorious (really eas lucky with the card that was revealed. #boardgames

This afternoon we played 2 great games. We had our first (of which is sure to be many) game of Mythic Mischief. The ghosts won over the vampires by 1 point. Then we played Fliptown. A great flip and write game. #boardgames

This afternoon a friend and I played Ark Nova. Then my wife joined us for The White Castle with the Matcha expansion. Love both these games. I really love what Matcha adds to the game. #boardgames

Last night we played @vitallacerda.bsky.social Inventions: Evolution of Ideas. This is currently at the tip of favourites by the man. Did it help that I won handily? Maybe. #boardgames

We didn't have the usual suspects tonight. So, we had a family gamenight. We kicked things off with Cozy Stckerville. This is the perfect game for our daughter. Then we pulled out Fabled Fruit again. And closed it off with Horrified D&D Ravenloft. We defeated Carrionette and Baba Lysaga. #boardgames

When crowdfunding comes in it's never just one. This one has been on my "must have" list for some time. Never thought I'd get my hands on a copy. #boardgames

Wow, at two players the Matcha expansion makes it a more playable game at 2. Without the expansion I found The White Castle at 2 dull. #boardgames

We had a friend over this afternoon/early evening and played two games that he brought. First up was Agricola and after dinner we played Alhambra. Bother were new to me games. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Alhambra. #boardgames

Picked up a couple games while at the FLGS to pick up a parcel. The expansion for Splendor Duel The Counterfiters. And Muskatonic TalesvJourney to Innsmouth. I've had my eye on the latter for a little bit. Im really interested to see what this has to offer. #boardgames

Played a couple games of Marvel United. I dont know why it took soo long to get this to the table. It's a nice quick game. Then we played a round of Holmes Sherlock & Mycroft, interesting little two player game. #boardgames

And we finished the evening with a game of LotR Duel for Middle-Earth. I was Sauron, as usual. And was able to pull off a victory on the map. #boardgames
