Just an idea. Increase the size of the House to a total of 660 members to better reflect the changes in the U.S. since the limit of 435 was set in … 1929. Sure TX and FL would gain bigly. So would CA and NY. But the representation would be more reflective of the U.S. as a whole.

The thing about gerrymandering, is BOTH parties are guilty of it. If/when the Texas legislature flips; you’re correct to presume that the D’s will rework the districts to their own advantage; and the R’s will fly out of town (Cancun maybe?). Is there a fair fix? 🤷🏼‍♂️

About Texas and Gerrymandering. Dems are pissed that Republicans are going to redistrict the state. Both need to remember this when the Dems become the majority and the Repub’s are pissed about redistricting.
