I was interested in VHOLUME as soon as I saw it, but I made the mistake of listening to some reviews saying the controls were clunky and the levels were boring. I really need to take reviews with a grain of salt. Tried it anyway today, loved it.

I want more braindead games with shitloads of content that aren't overly grindy. That's the other end of this, the grindy idler that just gets too boring to make it all the way to the end.

...at least some of them end in you somehow destroying the universe or something, but it seems like the next generation of incremental games after that are just low-effort cash grabs with no satisfying climax and little to no passion to continue making the game better. At least in my experience.

After being duped into buying such games a couple times, I now avoid buying any more cheap "incremental" games with 2 hours of content stretched to 5 hours.
