Alright. Seven Havens is really good. The trailers did almost NOTHING for me. In fact, I was anti-hyped. Nothing feels lazy or forced. Things feel super different, but there's just enough Avatar DNA. And in less surprising news, Knight of Guinevere Episode 2 was phenomenal.

Older 3D games have aged far better than PS360 and even a lot of PS4X1 era 3D games. Full PBR and subsurface scattering in games did an enormous amount of heavy lifting. I genuinely believe until that point, the "better" graphics got, the worse they looked. Excluding stylised art styles.

I'm grateful the Witcher 3 Remastered Update was free, but it felt rushed out for no reason. Playing on PS5 because I had a few issues with it on Linux. Every autosave causes stuttering. Quest step complete? Stutter. Then the dialogue volume drops to a whisper after a bit. C'mon CDPR...

I'm starting to hate Control Resonant's combat. There's an element here of "you're just bad" sure. But I hate that I feel like I've been getting weaker starting with the Underpass. And I hate dropping like a brick into voids because I've been fighting in the air for too long. Have stamina or don't.

My closest friends haven't gotten into Remedy games and that weighs on me.

Control Resonant is the most video game-ass video game I've played in a while. This is absolutely a compliment.

Honestly, the Ocarina of Time remake is kinda whatever to me. Neat, will probably get it as I have a Switch 2. Just not really looking forward to it. But the thought occurred to me that we'll get modern official interpretations of Dead Hand and the original Redead design. My interest went up 🤏.
