Absolutely loved “The Incomer” at the cinema last night. I laughed so hard my eyes were streaming. Filmed up at Lybster. Gayle Rankin and Domhnall Gleeson were excellent and John Hannah was comical and menacing as one of the finfolk out of Orcadian lore.

Finally watched this stunning Norwegian movie. Dina would be watered down if made elsewhere. Director Ole Bornedal cast Maria Bonnevie as the deliciously dark and complex character. Also stars the excellent Mads Mikkelsen, Gérard Depardieu and Christopher Eccleston. #movie #norway

Heard about Dolly last night from a large screen in central Newcastle. Young clubbers stopped, gasping "Oh my Gawd". I think that's a good measure. Personally I admired her story and having seen her perform, it was incredible. Rest in peace above all to a talented and deeply decent human.

Watched “What happened to Baby Jane” on the silver screen last night. Incredible performances. Joan Crawford, and Bette Davis oozes a powerful chill with her descent into violent psychosis. #movie #film
