Approving the Jackdaw gas field solves none of our problems, while contributing to the existential crisis of climate breakdown. The government has privileged special interests above the general interest. It's a shameful, cowardly decision.

The same disastrous policies, but timed so they get less bad publicity. This government really thinks we are mugs.

The climate crisis is a health crisis. That's why I have written to Yvette Cooper to ask her what discussions she has had with the Secretary of State for Energy Security & Net Zero about the potential health impacts of emissions from allowing drilling at Rosebank and Jackdaw.
