Just played the Final Fantasy Resonance demo. Great game, even if I had to turn the resolution down pretty low to get it to work. It was funny, moving, and cool. The art's good. The music is GREAT. Can't wait to play the full game.

I love all the supportive content we get from Chiitan.🏳️‍⚧️

To Chiitan, transgender people are like family—just like mom and dad🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 I love everyone from the bottom of my heart. I hope every kind-hearted transgender person can live a proud and happy life. love you all🩷

Me, trying to get thoughts out before they vanish like the beginning of Amnesia the Dark Descent "The campaign is about the party accidentally dodging the adventure, and a series of near-misses where they almost do, and it's about them figuring out that they HAVE a quest in the first place." #TTRPGs

I've always loved Ghostbusters, so this is one of the few fandom theories I'm interested in. Shame I haven't seen the cartoon.

Forcefem via focus group. Yeah, we did A/B testing and determined your character is 80% more marketable as a girl, so we redesigned you. What? No, your contract stipulates your public presentation must be congruent with your role's brand identity, and "being a boy" is no longer on the approved list.

My extended family had a Halloween party for all of the little kids today, so i brought them my Mimikyu plushie to play with. It was so cute because all of them said "Pikachu!" Sometimes they wondered which Pokémon it was, but Mimikyu's disguise was too good for them to pierce! He had a good day.

I'm the person who uses the exit game command in a video game's settings menu instead of just right clicking the game like any sensible person would.

I know somebody whose described himself as a "hard-boiled egg🏳️‍⚧️", which is to say, he believes that there's a timeline where he could have transitioned, but that never happened and so now it never will. Let's hold out hope, eh?🏳️‍⚧️

$14 is a ridiculously good price to get both River City Girls video games. They're even better than the original River City Ransom. www.humblebundle.com/games/2d-rew... Freedom Planet is also pretty good and I recognize a few other titles in the collection. #HumbleBundle

At the beginning of the game, when you get control of your character, don't move. After about ten minutes, your mom will ask if you want to stay in. Say Yes, then go rest in your bed. Do this two more times, then play like normal. When you get to pick your Pokémon, the Professor will say,

HEY EVERYONE! I have an important request. Knowing absolutely nothing about the Pokémon fangame I'm working on (unless you go looking at my old posts, I guess), repost with a 90s style playground rumor about what's in it. I want to add some secrets, and I think this will improve the authenticity.

Dr Frankenstein: "IT'S ALIIIIIVE!" The Monster: "My pronouns are he/him." Dr Frankenstein: "HE'S ALIVE! ALIIIIIIIVE!" The Monster: "Can I choose the name on my birth certificate?"

TTRPG magic item design is like Level 4 Item - Azrael, Sword of Death, its black hole blade ignores armor and sucks out the last joyous memory of your victim. Level 5 - A wallet that always has about $15 in it, if you're not too greedy. Balanced.

TIL about "sugar of lead", an historical alternative sweetener used for wine. As the name implies, it contains lead. It was banned as a sweetener in 1750, which did not stop people from making it, and may have contributed to Beethoven's hearing loss. Man loved his illegal lead-sweetened wine.

I made a TTRPG character whose a medical examiner and I called her Moira... when the name Morgana was right there! You'll get the pun. Give it a second.

Saw Resident Evil in theater yesterday. That movie is a solid 9/10 . It's funny, which I didn't expect, and that works in its favor, which I -REALLY- didn't expect. It knows when to pull back to the human moments. Sometimes it's scary; sometimes it's genuinely shocking. It has a perfect ending.

TikTok lied to me about the origins of a couple phrases. Some people said that "the customer is always right" should have "in matters of taste" appended, but no. And that "blood is thicker than water" should be "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb", but also no.

I would LOVE to read a trans retelling of Ranma 1/2 where both Ranma and Akane are trans. There was a great series of posts on Tumblr showing how you could read that interpretation for Ranma the character. Sadly, it's been deleted.

'Fujoshi' Akane given a boy curse that makes her taller and beefier than Ranma's boy mode. Akane thus has lots of fun. (And... probably just realises he's trans masc and into guys along the way.)

Apparently, I can't tell when something is bad voice acting. I've seen several videos making fun of bad voice acting in games. It's hit-or-miss whether I can tell. Anyone else feel this way?

This is how I feel when I read Cyberpunk RED and read you can get perfect gender-affirming surgery for like a week's work and an hour of your time.

Heartbreaking: this dystopia is better than ours

I've had so many plot arcs and characters introduced or spoiled for me by experiencing the hentai long before I knew they came from something else. Me: "Oh hey! I know that character with the pink hair." Friend: "You play FGO?" Me: "What the hell is FGO?" #Astolfo #FateGrandOrder #IsThisCulture?

I need to get a new computer. I've reached the point where I'm looking at the system requirements for every 2D-indie game that hits just to see whether I can run it at all.
