What you fight, you feed. The right is very intentional about the vile they spread. They lie not to be believed but rather to be repeated. Congrats Brazil - may this and Serbia be a portent.

The important thing about the growing "Republicans are losing" headlines and polls is that it sets expectations for this to be so, which measurably impacts the regime's ability to sway folks susceptible to their lies about the election.

High potential voters are very low info (with small sliver being deliberate "both sides suck" abstainers who may be paying attn). And what moves them is when "everyone is doing it" - meaning voting - and talking about it. The abstainers jump in if hatred of status quo outweighs cynicism.

You can't "affordability" only your way out of authoritarianism because politics isn't solitaire. The dictators are always stooping to new lows to spread fear/hatred/division & they own the channels of communication.
