Along with being one of the greatest racers of all time, Italian cycling champion Gino Bartali carried forged exit visas hidden in his handlebars and seat to Jews in hiding during WWII, & ultimately helped save an estimated 800 Jews from the Nazis. Happy #BicycleBirthday, Gino! July 18 (1914-2000)

A great thing about living alone: I don’t have to worry about hyper regulating my emotions. If I want to laugh, I can laugh. If I need to cry, I can cry, and if I don’t feel like showing any emotion at all, I don’t have to worry about someone misinterpreting it and being offended. Very. Liberating.

A very relatable look of 'can I just get five minutes peace with my book'. From Le Rommant de la Rose, a hugely popular Medieval poem, printed in Paris, 500 years ago.

The greatest thing that happened to me today was when I went down to the lobby of my building to pick up a delivery wearing my bathrobe and it just happened to be when a new tenant was getting a tour of the building and they looked at me like I was a homeless person that wandered in off the street.

This Wall Street Journal headline might be the thing that breaks me

I got a New York Times alert that flashed on my phone, and all that the alert said was, “During [some event] Trump was rushed to…” And I thought, “OOOOOH!” and then I clicked on the article and then I was like, “Oh.”

"If you were my wife, madam, I'd throw you out of an airplane." "If I were your wife, sir, I'd jump."

JD Vance: "You know what? My wife has the right to skydive, but she doesn't jump out of an airplane because she and I have an agreement she's not gonna do that, because I don't want my wife jumping out of an airplane."

In 1905, Scientific American dismissed the pie-making machine because the pies were “too perfect.” 🥧 This Pi Day, we’ll concede they may have been a little…irrational about pie machines, but never about the mathematical constant π. #PiDay
