Last year today was one of the scariest days of my life. We initially called a lawyer who wanted to work with feds to arrange a perp walk. Kat told that guy to fuck himself. Thank God for the National Lawyer's Guild, who Kat called right after. They were ready to fight the bullshit on zero notice.

I do not get Murkowski, just do the right thing, quit caucusing with Republicans and land your ass on the right side of history. You still have time.

MeidasTouch@meidastouch.com

Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski has endorsed Democrat Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins for governor of Alaska, crossing party lines just one week before the midterms. She urged Republicans, independents, and Democrats to consider the Democratic ticket: “Alaska needs leaders who will put our state first.”

She's right, the votes in the Senate aren't there but that doesn't mean the House should abdicate their oversight responsibilities. They need to ask themselves, has trump committed impeachable offenses? If the answer is yes, it is, let the people see that you give a fuck and impeach this shitstain.

Acyn@acyn.bsky.social

Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…

That Trump Truth Social post about the GOP winning the 2026 election & not counting votes? That’s fake. But its virality in blue online spaces — & via text chains — reflects a broader pattern in this midterm election: there’s A LOT of concern on the left about the potential of federal interference.

How on god's green earth is this a winning message? You can be my guest but you'll have spring for the shitty cheeseburger.
