My godson’s parents just early voted today. It’s his first time at a polling place. Please vote. If not for yourself, for his future. Thanks.

it feels like its kinda being ignored but outside a couple outliers the only thing republicans are running on in the midterms is that theyre white and democrats arent

The administration makes releases like this understanding the mainstream media will absolutely never put it in context. It’s like saying Government Issues Alert On Possible Ghost Attacks. The first time I realized this exploit was when Bush did his terror alert bullshit.

The system was designed for a government where the basic functions are run by bureaucrats, not hardcore ideological monsters. The right has totally changed this dynamic and the media will never pivot.

When Republicans know what they want is unpopular, they lie. They deceive. They blow smoke up everyone’s ass It’s what they do. Half a century covering America’s reddest state taught me that

Missouri's Amendment 3 would restore an abortion ban with limited exceptions, but its ads focus on a different provision: banning gender transition care for minors. The campaign website never explicitly states it would repeal the constitutional right to abortion voters approved 2 years ago.

For the 1st time in US history SCOTUS has more rulings on its shadow docket -- unsigned and with no opinions -- than it has cases where it has heard oral arguments and issued signed rulings. IOW they are hiding their deliberations while stealing our democracy. www.propublica.org/article/supr...

ya know, mississippi, that purple swing state that both parties are always laying claim to and not the most rock-solid gop territory where youd say a republican is facing major problems if they have to campaign there

i havent really been around young kids a lot so i sometimes watch my (one year old) godson like im jane goodall. the thing with toddlers constantly picking shit up and dropping it is funny. seven months ago he barely had any motor control. now that he figured out how fingers work, its nonstop.

yesterday the hand control got to a really funny point where he decided that a good use of the new plastic toy he got was to constantly shove it in uncle oliver's mouth. i was basically waterboarded with plastic by a toddler.

this was not a light tap against my lips. he's very strong. this was a full on shove into the mouth "suck on plastic, old man" power move by a very determined young man.

he especially loves sitting in his play pen, picking up a toy, then dropping it over the top. but he hasn't yet made the logic connection that "if i drop the toy out there i cant play with it." so he starts crying that the toy is gone. hilarious.

if democrats win one of the biggest strains will be the drive to hold them accountable for holding trump and the gop acountable. every time for the last 40 years when the dems have won they took their foot off the gas and we suffered. we must push them and their boot-licking defenders.

Even if they completely live in their own bubble, and only watch Fox News, etc., Republicans have to know how unpopular they are right? Every time they’re out with the general public, this happens.
