New followers (👋) so little introduction; for the past 10+ years I've been releasing public domain game assets to support indies & students. You can donate, but it's totally optional. I hope to continue supporting our industry for many more years to come, thanks for your follow/support! kenney.nl
tried installing the new gnome os preview yesterday but the disk encryption and longass key just made it impossible to use. on a different note, not sure when this started, but KDE Linux now has classic .iso downloads! files.kde.org/kde-linux/
good luck and all the best!
Plasma 6.8 #Beta 1 is here! Testers, ready your machines! kde.org/announcement... Help us find all the #bugs and squash them before the final release on October 14th, KDE's 30th #birthday. Report bugs to: bugs.kde.org #KDEat30 #Plasma6 #testing #desktop #FreeSoftware #OpenSource
I think I have also found a solution to the internet dying because of this update. Caused a bit of overhead and double work on the router side, but I like my internet not dying.
I just made a docker container to which you can pass country codes and it then spits out an .rsc file ready to import into @mikrotik.social RouterOS. I have also made a script that retrieves the .rsc onto the router and refreshes the list. Pretty cool stuff!
yooooo, the integrated text editor from RouterOS, which I have nicknamed mikronano, has syntax autocomplete!!!

btw, @mikrotik.social stole your profile picture for my personal gotify alerts for the above script.

also thanks to ipdeny.com for the data. sorry for spamming you a few days ago with requests, I am not a smart fella.
suddenly the option/need/impulse of getting an extra switch to extend the number of physical ports, has appeared. although I am a very much beginner in networking, I am tempted to continue into the world of @mikrotik.social. they have some mean looking small switches i would like to play with!
this one looks SICK (do not remember why I went with the hapax3 instead of this one) mikrotik.com/product/l009...

so after 10 years @ubisoft.com suddenly realised their anti-cheat doesn't work on linux? is @ubisoft.com stupid? did ives get his ass kicked in for honor by a steamdeck user or what? are they dumb?
I dont even play for honor, I am just genuinely curious if @ubisoft.com is stupid (judging by their very long streak of botched releases, I am inclined to say that yes, they are in fact stupid)
two genuinely good games from a genuinely good gaming company. if more game companies were like them the gaming world would be better. they also have absolute BANGERS in all of their games. god-tier music.
🚨Get HADES II for 30% off, and the original HADES for 70% off, now till next week on Steam!🌖 Now's a great time to battle beyond the Underworld and get to know that Odysseus guy everybody's been talking about, plus dozens more from Greek myth.⛵️ Links in the replies⤵️

woooo ISO soon!
KDE Linux devs are now are implementing a robust and modern QA system, have created an .iso image to facilitate installation, are working on making using Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese text input easier, and much more: pointieststick.com/2026/07/01/t... KDE Linux Beta is getting near!
The only game I have ever played on linux that does not work perfectly out of the box with steam's proton is Overwatch from @blizzard.com. Even with proton-ge, still have issues sometimes. So my final conclusion is that linux gaming is fine and Overwatch is just unoptimized...
one of the best, and my favourite linux desktop environment, on which I kinda depend, is turning the beautiful age of 30 this year! kde.org/anniversarie... i am so happy for the current state of KDE ❤️
Oh my fucking god just stop, we are not even 2 years after the whole teams, teams(classic) and teams(new) thing. Just stop, holy fuck. www.neowin.net/news/microso...
bro the @firefox.com favicon is more reliably cached and than anything else I have ever seen. Guys, if you ever need super reliable storage, make it a favicon and load the site containing it ONCE, it is there forever. Immutable data or some shit.
never heard of sausage cabbage rolls but I strongly recommend the minced meat ones from eastern europe, with a bit of sour cream on top. do it. you deserve this experience!
Cabbage rolls stuffed with Italian sausage! So simple, but delicious! I think cabbage is a very versatile but underrated vegetable! #DoctorsWhoCook 🍽️ #goodlunch
and with that complaint/rant out of the way, I should also probably mention how much I love false positives. false positives are super fucking cool, props to the mf that invented them. I'd 100% take a whole day/week of investigating a false positive over an actual issue.
damn, at work I am always careful where I click so I dont take a test environment down for 2 minutes and shit like that, someone at M$ just false-alerted ALL(?) security vendors and admins around the world by mistake, on a Sunday, about a virus running freely in their environments.
nice to see that after hundreds of billions invested, lives and areas destroyed with datacenters, planet affected pretty badly, it managed to hallucinate something useful!
A 23-year-old with no advanced math training just vibe-mathed a 60-year-old Erdos conjecture with one ChatGPT 5.4 Pro prompt. The AI used a method no mathematician had tried. The proof has been confirmed by Terence Tao. Pretty cool news.
