As I just reported for @ms.now yesterday, they were charged w/ blocking entrances to abortion clinics, harassing & injuring staff & livestreaming some of it. Trump freed them from federal prison; 3 have been re-arrested since. Now, the DOJ is using the same law to go after a journalist.

In every case of agents shooting a civilian in this admin, federal officials and agencies push a narrative about the civilian’s aggression immediately, well before evidence tells the real story. And the claim is often false. It’s a coordinated campaign and it’s worth noting.

Frey: I'm done being told that our local elected officials are solely responsible for turning down the temperature. Yesterday we saw 15,000 people peacefully protesting in the streets, speaking out, standing up for their neighbors. Not a single broken window, not a single injury.

Police Chief Brian O'Hara says they believe the victim was a "lawful gun owner" with no law enforcement record outside of traffic tickets. Says federal agents did not provide them with a "public safety statement" regarding the shooting.

ICE used a warrantless forced entry to arrest a US citizen with no criminal record. Rather than acknowledge error, they smeared the family, saying they were harboring sex offenders and critics were defending sex offenders. Turns out that one of their targets was already in jail. ICE never checked.
