I am putting this here just as an I told you so. The Dems will not be in control of either chamber come January. No matter the election results. (Which for the record, I don’t think they will win.) Please prove me wrong though and vote!!!

I fear hubris is going to cost the Dems this election. They stopped talking about affordability and seamlessly transitioned to only talking about "accountability" when they win. They are celebrating before the finish line. Average voters just want cheap things. It seriously isn't that complicated.

This may be the smartest thing Democrat leadership has said in 50 years. Stop being cocky. Stop saying "When we win the House." Stop talking about future plans. This is a massive hill to climb with Billionaires literally paying for you to lose and the GOP making up new rules.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Somehow all is going to work itself out because we vote?? The regime has been planning for this FOR A DECADE. It truly makes me sick everyone just expects traditions and the justice system to do the right thing.

I am honestly trying not be a doomer but I earnestly do not believe a blue wave is coming. The early voting splits don’t seem enough to overcome the day-of GOP voters. Not to mention, there is zero chance that this regime is going to allow Dems to control anything. I believe our democracy died in 24

Bluesky has just become one of the following: 1. People reposting the same news stories that have been posted thousands of times. 2. People with even an iota of influence not using their influence and just complaining. 3. Trying to get people to subscribe to something. 4. A post about a blue tsunami

Polling shows Democrats could win 53–54 Senate seats — but control is still too close to call. This comes down to turnout. Period. Every Democrat needs to show up and vote like our lives, our rights, and our democracy depend on it — because they do. No complacency. No sitting this one out. VOTE.

It's a new week, Bluesky. Trust no poll. Trust no pundit. Vote early if you can. Vote in person if you can.

Where the fuck are the @democrats.org to fend off this France rhetoric? People are really underestimating the fear mongering that is going to happen. Do we think it is just a coincidence France, Spain and Italy have protests that are being blamed on the far left 2 weeks before the midterms???

Before the GOP seizes on France, we need every elected @democrats.org or any running for office to dispel any bullshit that the looting and rioting is being done by “the fringe far-left.“ I can guarantee the GOP is already creating commercials saying it will happen here!

No one finds it weird that France is on fire and everyone is pointing to the far-left and immigrants RIGHT before an election? Who is actually stoking the violence? These were student protests that all of a sudden are the far-left’s fault? Macron will do ANYTHING to stay in Trump’s good graces.

Pay attention to how certain Mike Johnson is. He knows something the rest of us don’t. He is an evil little man that will do ANYTHING to not fall into obscurity.

Why is no one talking about the fact that Zacharia manipulated Trump into being press secretary in only a few weeks of air time? Imagine how easily another country could do it with a much more coordinated media and social media presence…

Axios regularly amplifies and promotes Trump's insanity. Axios's Barak Ravid has helped Trump commit market manipulation dozens and dozens of times this year alone. When they are calling this out, pay attention.

NEW: MAGA activists are pushing for President Trump to resort to extraordinary measures — including martial law — if they believe the midterm elections are "rigged."

Parents, if you have dropped off a kid named Jimmy in the morning and picked up a kid named Janet at the end of the school day, please return to the school: You've driven off with some other family's child.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "They want to cut your children. It's unbelievable what they do. Your son leaves as Jimmy and comes home in three days as Janet, and they don't even ask you. They can take your child out of school and do whatever the hell they want. Minnesota is one of those states."

It is only October 14th...do you truly think they are not going to come up with an October surprise?? You have not been paying attention for 10 years if you believe they are just going to go quietly. The Talarico conspiracy and Ilhan Omar raid is only scratching the surface of their planned chaos.

Politico@politico.com

Republicans have lost hope for a last-minute surprise that will substantially change midterm math that’s increasingly adding up against them. Instead, they’re doing what they can to save themselves.

Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.

Sentiment towards the President in polls means nothing. Republicans vote red absolutely no matter what. Independents and wary Democrats are the only hope in this midterm. I could care less if Republicans have buyer's regret. The vast majority of them aren't going to vote Dem for the first time ever.

Anyone notice Shane Gillis seems to only become relevant during elections? BECAUSE HE IS DOING THAT ON PURPOSE! He is one of their champions of "free speech comedy" where he says things to get a reaction to prove comedy is being censored. Everyone is falling for it. AGAIN!

The number of “Poles” online who hate Ukrainians and “Ukrainians” who hate Poles has suddenly dropped This happened after the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck Yandex data centers Additionally, online support for Germany’s right-wing AfD party and Trump’s MAGA movement in the US reportedly fell by 56%

Trump’s “energy ceasefire” really just means Putin can do whatever he wants, and Zelenskyy can’t hit the precious oil.

Initial reports suggest drones struck Kharkiv's TEC-5 heat and power plant in Ukraine, hours after Trump announced an immediate Russia-Ukraine "energy ceasefire."

So @cbsnews.com is going have @abdulelsayed.bsky.social do one also to be fair right?? Or are they just going to let this Panic! At The Disco cosplayer spout lies and hate with no repercussions?

The Daily Beast@thedailybeast.bsky.social

JD Vance will participate in a town hall hosted by CBS News next week, as he takes questions from Michigan voters ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

Everyone needs to vote and vote early. No boasting how the Dems are going to do well this year or how a blue wave is coming. We have no clue what kind of nonsense the GOP is going to pull. The Trump White House is collecting all of these takes to throw in our faces if things go wrong. Be the adults.

I actually despise the fact that Democrats continuously only go on MSNOW. You aren't winning voters on MSNOW, they are already voting blue. You need to branch out and extend your reach. See how @abdulelsayed.bsky.social goes on Fox News? Learn from it. Don't run from hot topics.

Trump claims Democrats "voted in favor of the worst inflation and the highest energy costs in American history." For context, below is the average gas prices (per AAA) under his term where Diesel hit record high just around a week ago.

You can throw away all the polls about who will be better at anything. $5,000 is going to win over people more than any issue. Not enough people are talking about this. Pollsters need to ask the right questions.

So Democrats are really just going to let Trump continue to bribe voters huh? Every time he says it, an elected official should be on television how it is illegal and he has never delivered on a promise. The more he lies about it, the more people are going to believe him.

Maybe I just have no faith in humanity anymore, but I truly believe these bribes from Trump are going to sway the election. When push comes to shove, people are going to vote for the prospect of money over anything else. I really hope I am wrong, but sadly don’t think I am.

He is literally going to buy votes for the GOP while simultaneously expanding our debt. We are truly fucked as a country.

How do you defeat a president who’s trying to sabotage the midterms? 1. Use drop boxes. 2. Vote EARLY in person. 3. If mailing in your ballot, put it in the mail AT LEAST two weeks before Election Day. 4. Vote in person on Election Day. 5. Share these instructions with everyone you know.

I really hope a lot of people are voting early because October is about to be the longest political month of our lives. So many October surprises will be brought to light, investigated by the FBI using our tax dollars, that the Dems could blow one of the largest Midterm leads in history.

I think Schmitt and his team just got confused with a simple mix-up...Iowa Hawkeyes with Caitlin Clark...Clark Kellogg called a couple Atlanta Hawks games...Clark Griswald's company made a cereal crunch enhancer and also lived in Illinois, which is next to Iowa...simple mistake really.

I see all these posts about Republicans "breaking" with Trump or how they are growing tired of him. They aren't going to vote Democrat all of a sudden. They hate the word socialism more than they could ever hate Trump. There will not be much crossover at all, we just have to hope a lot stay home.
