Chris Reed and the Anime Raiders

My latest. Very much outside my usual comfort zone. I don't much care for music videos - I didn't become a musician to star in little bitty movies. That's why I tend to do ones like this. #BskyMusic #NewMusic www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN7s...

I haven't see anyone sharing the video here, so here's the clip of the gorgeous werewolf float from Imperatriz Leopoldinense's Ney Matogrosso tribute parade. #Werewolf #Carnaval

New music this week from Julian Lennon, Peter Gabriel, The Rolling Stones, Rainbow Body, Declaw, The Buuys, Bailen, Katie Pruitt, Ben Poole, The Temperance Movement, Devon Gilfillian, Paper Jam, Indoor Foxes, Lambrini Girls, Teenage Dads, The Church and an embarassment of riches more. Enjoy!

November 20th

9 "Arabs" (They mean Muslims) have won Nobel Prizes. 3 have won the Fields Prize - most recently in 2018. 2 have won the Wolf Prize. I'd imagine that the real numbers are higher as that was just a 1 page Google search. I'm starting to wonder if this man is really a Kennedy.

perfect, no notes

So long Bester. Yes, he's most famous for Star Trek but he's actually in more episodes of Babylon 5. #RIP Walter Koenig.

Mine's the same as my Kevin Bacon number.

I swear we're going to wind up with Russian soldiers in Alaska.

Dear Ellison people: If you ever want me to watch @cbsnews.com or any #CBS content whatsoever, you need to sell it to a grownup. #DraftKings? Really? You hae some good content on your network. Just not your news/political coverage. Makes me grateful that I left television before I turned 30.

I had no idea this was even a thing, and I have 2 tattoos. It's hilarious to me that people are putting AI ink on their bodies. One of my two is my own design and is all straight lines. Try to find a tattoo artist who will do that. My other was hand-drawn by my own Mother, a professional artist.

"Pro-life" would be 20 Sandy Hook students voting in their first midterm election.

Face it, if you were going to vote for #Ramaswamy you were already a supporter of child rape. #FuckYou

As I have done on previous weeks, here is a link to Radio Free California episode 2642 through my blog. New music this week from Joce Reyome, lovelytheband, Sofie Royer, Fontaines D.C., Blondie, Levara, World News, Fantastic Negrito, Los Lobos, Zebra, The Goo Goo Dolls and much more. Enjoy!

Agreed. People should go to prison over this.

Today in my neighborhood. #NoKings

To all those people hyping the #Roadster, it would have really been impressive if that same car could have done all that a second time. Allow me to show you an earlier version of the same trick.

Like I have been telling people, #Elon is a Stoner. This is a car designed by a stoner.

Number of children who have come home from school a a different sex because of anything the school did: 0 Number of children who have come home in coffins: ∞ They never try to scare you about the possibility of the coffins & yet there are daily examples. Don't be afraid to say it: They're #LIARS

Okay, so I looked at the #Tesla #Roadster Demo. This is what happens when you let a #stoner design a car. If this idiotic... thing... gets onto public roads people are gonna die.

Dear everyone in power: Fuck your thoughts and prayers. God isn't listening. At the very least, God isn't doing anything about it. God just might be a lazy bitch. You. You must fucking DO something. Be offended at my words, but do something. Me, I've already voted.

Tell you what. If I win the lottery this week or next I'll buy it and keep it open just as it is.

Radio Free California 2641 is out! New music this week from Alanis Morisette, Greta Van Fleet, Ann Wilson, Jackie Evans, Remi Wolf, Girl Ultra, Snacktime, Crown Lands, Robert Plant, Bonnie Legion, Avi Kaplan and so much more. Enjoy! The playlist is embedded, so play at your leasure!

The fight isn't new.

Has anyone told @distrokid.com that their "Wheel of Playlist has been inaccessable for well over a week? This is the error I get.

For me it isn't a surprise that the Crime Administration has turned to Putin in an effort to relieve the pressure. For me the surprise is that the price of their betrayal is so #CHEAP. I did the math in a previous post. What we're supposedly getting this month is less than a single day's supply.

Here's the math on 300,000 Metric tons of #oil that we're buying from #Russia. This is 2,250,000 barrels of oil. The daily use of oil in the United States is roughly 2.8M barrels per day. Google it. So the deal won't get us through a SINGLE. FUCKING. DAY. What a crock of shit.

I have voted.

And now here comes Amicania's first "Two Minute Hate"

How I arrived on Bluesky:

Will People please STOP pointing out to Iran that Mar-A-Lago is 1,000 miles away from Los Angeles? It is irresponsible and reprehensible. The correct distance is 2,330 Miles. Please get yout facts straight.

And here is this week's Radio Free California Episode 2640, as shown on my blog. New music this week from Johnny Marr, Stanley Simmons, Wishy, Basement Alchemy, Meshell Ndegecello, Karina Rykman, Tinted Windows (I'll explain), Lime Garden, Drink the Sea, Victoria Monet and more. Enjoy! #BskyMusic

I dunno, maybe stop ACTING like motherfucking #Gestapo? Also, I'me pretty sure that the 413% increase is almost exclusively because of assaults that #ICE agents started.

What a cunt. Just about every woman I have ever met in my 6 decades in this country has at some point organized their lives around Roe v. Wade. A few men as well.

Thanks to @moniquely-uniq.blacksky.app for reposting this. Great song from a great album.

Read this list. READ IT!!!!! Your "alt-rock" radio station is an OLDIES station. /snark

In case y'all hadn't noticed it, "Speaker" Mike Johnson is a touch 'teched in the hed.

New music this week from my new discovery Wild Metanoia, Tom Morello with his first solo album, Marthy, Alex Amor, The Friendly Fires, The Menzingers, The George Barrie Band, U2, Peter Gabriel, Bush, Father of Peace, Rubi Ate the Fig and much more. Enjoy! Plus some blogging and a plug for this:

So I finally saw #Supergirl. Speaking as an atypical CIS male... I enjoyed it. It went in directions I didn't always expect (although some of it I did - they are called tropes for a reason) and I thought Jasom Mamoa was fine as Lobo. I do not understand the hate. Perfectly enjoyable movie.

Welp. I've now had to take down my old webcomic from Webtoons AND Tapas.

My younger daughter got me a guitar for my #Birthday. An amp too. 😎

If he had been the head of Enron instead of President he wouldn't even make bail after he was arrested for all the crimes he's committed since January 20, 2025. There needs to be an accounting, and there are people who have been keeping track. Can't tell you if they're the right people though.

9 anime to get to know me Limiting myself to 9 means that if I did this tomorrow I would pick 9 different ones. Hell one of my favorite anime, "SIMON", wasn't even a choice. I could also put up there the original Cat's Eye, Evangelion, Cowboy BeBop, Macross, Read or Die, Kanon, Neia\7...

Lots of new music this week (almost as much as last week!) from Oli Rockenberger, Karen Dio, Jawdropper, High Fade, Softcult, Echo & the Bunnymen, Beck, Slow Pulp, beebadoobee, Gang of Youths, Haken and so much more. Enjoy! Plus a few bonus features. #IndieMusic #NewMusic #Music #Blogging

I have said this before: There are 5 times as many police officers who have been ARRESTED for stalking people using Flock Cameras as there are trans people in professional sports. And what do they want you to be afraid of again? If you can't support the trans community I don't want to know you.

Now that the cost of a gallon of gas is greater than the federal minimum wage you have to start wondering when people who earn only that much and drive more than 30 minutes to work start to stay home instead because it's cheaper. We're not there yet, but we're getting close.

The story of my night at the Indie Music Awards presented by #IndieMusicChannel. Kudos to @grantmaloysmith.bsky.social for his great night, and to @yamino.bsky.social for the T-Shirt I wore to the ceremony. #Blogging #IndieMusic #Music #Indie

I think we've now reached the point that if your news network is still welcome at the White House then your news network is complicit in the crimes committed by this White House. #FreePress #CoSoPolitics
