Further proof that Hawley and Republicans only care about controlling women’s bodies. He brings up a case to support banning mifepristone where a man drugged his gf to induce a miscarriage of a baby she wanted. By their logic, due to that man’s heinous actions Mifepristone should be banned. 1/

2/ if they applied their logic universally, they would also support a ban on guns. The leading cause of death of kids in this country. Also, your issue isn’t with mifepristone, in that instance, your issue is with a man who made a choice over a woman’s body. Get in that jail cell with him.

Why do corporate compliance trainings have to include lessons against insider trading? DJT, billionaire ghouls and congress make it seem like that’s totally a legal thing nowadays.

The government has declared war on its citizens. It’s murdering us without impunity and expecting for us to eat the shit it’s trying to spoon feed us. At what point is ANYONE in congress or local government going to wake the fuck up and fucking do something?? They are pushing us to the brink.

Jim Jordan talking about separation of powers and “over stepping congressional authority.” Is FUCKING RICH, considering Republicans allow Trump to trample all over congress and don’t honor their charge to keep the executive branch in check.

A Trump supporter started murdering his way through an assassination list of Democratic law makers FIVE MONTHS AGO. He murdered my colleague Melissa Hortman, and her husband Mark — and attempted to assassinate my dear friend John Hoffman and his wife Yvette. I was also on the hit list. WTF

Donald Trump actually just said “the only guy (Biden) who can fall asleep on the beach with the press watching.” As if he didn’t fall asleep in front of the press during a conference IN HIS OFFICE. He tells on himself, fucking moron.

“I expect Republicans & the president to come to the table on healthcare” with all due respect, gfy. Following it up with “& if they don’t they own the increase cost on healthcare premiums.” THEY GUT MEDICARE AND MEDICAID ALREADY THEY DO NOT GIVE A FUCK & WONT OWN SHIT. Omfg I’m so fucking pissed.

These Dems who flipped own this shit too and I hope they get primaried and lose their fucking jobs. We’ll find a democrat who will hold the line and recognizes the absolute fucking monsters they’re dealing with on the other side of the aisle.

LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. Sen. Hassan says “this president had lied and withheld food from Americans” and you’re telling me you believe the party who bolsters him and he himself will come to the table and negotiate on ACA subsidies???? I know you’re stuck in a hard spot but you are gutless and naive

Shooting Charlie Kirk was wrong. But even he realized shootings are a consequence of the way the second amendment has been interpreted. It’s also a consequence of the violent rhetoric that comes from Trump and his supporters.

What happened today is awful. People who fight against gun violence, people who loathe what Charlie Kirk stood for, must also condemn political violence. It’s a vicious cycle. This is a very dangerous moment.

The fact that an indicted war criminal has been invited to the US to meet with the President to look at maps of the country he invaded tells you Putin has already won.

In Russell Vought’s chapter on executive power in Project 2025, he attacks the notion of independent agencies and straight up says that the president should act with a “boldness to bend or break the bureaucracy to the presidential will.” Trump has sought to do exactly that.

MAGA the leaders of your party are actively hiding info that the nation is demanding, they aren’t listening to you now, why would they listen to you or act in your best interests on any other topic (I.e. healthcare and the economy)? They aren’t working for you, they’re working for Trump.

Of course they are. Speaker Mike Johnson is planning to shut the House down early for summer recess, just to block an effort that would force a vote on releasing the Epstein investigation files. Because shielding Trump’s secrets matters more to them than doing their jobs.

It’s literally in vote they’re pushing to remove victims information, no one said anything about publishing the docs as is without removing victim information. Mike Johnson is being purposefully ignorant here by implying this vote would be an open release.
