Come for the killer mellotron on Easy Money, stay for the insane interplay on the improv. This era of KC is unrivaled in my book.

Been exploring James Ferraro's stuff recently. I'm definitely most attracted to the ultra lo-fi new age & kraut influenced stuff. This one in particular is really something.
A music riddle: name two musicians who 1. Have hyphenated last names; 2. Have collaborated with @nofansrecords.bsky.social; 3. Are interested in non-Western religions; and 4. Are known for their particularly abrasive solo work.
Here's a hint: one of the two has seemingly just arrived on Bandcamp. These tracks are a wonderful ride.
There's gotta be somebody out there who has this record and wants to give it to me or at least upload the A-side
I know it's not the kind of lo-fi they're talking about but Guided by Voices is one of the most ADHD-friendly artists I've come across
"Most of us have a favorite song to which we know all the words or a music genre that helps us get motivated, relax, or concentrate. For those with ADHD, listening to music can be the difference between success and failure." Want to Improve Your Focus With ADHD? Try Listening to Lo-Fi:
Oddly enough I have a similar origin story - my dad brought home A Change of Seasons because of the Zeppelin covers, and that changed everything for me
As Angel Marcloid releases her mind-bending first album for Warp, she takes Alastair Shuttleworth through the records which have shaped her life, from Dream Theater, Wolf Eyes and early emo, to a passionate defence of The Morning Of Fire-Toolz’ Favourite Albums buff.ly/rLuLS8h

Just hit 2000 albums in my Bandcamp collection. Decided to mark the occasion by finally picking up this album from the wonderful Alastair Galbraith which has been sitting on my wishlist forever.
Here's the link to my collection if you want to know what your friendly neighborhood noise dad is listening to. Obviously I don't endorse every one of these releases, but you'll get the drift. Also there are fewer than 2000 listed because there are a number of private releases in the collection.
I decided to go through and make a playlist of some of the stuff from my collection that has made a big impact on me. Go ahead and poke through if you're looking for something different. These are arranged chronologically by purchase date.
