Gov Phil Scott is like a pair of comfortable shoes. You’ve worn them them daily for long time, but you look down and realized they are torn at the toe, frayed at the heal, and the sole has rotting away. It’s time to throw them away.

Trump and Republicans are selling off American assets.

JUST POSTED: A Russian energy giant has secretly moved to acquire a position in a massive Alaska gas project. Its part of talks between Witkoff/Kushner & Putin. But CEO of US company resigns after learning of Russian money in the project. A wowzer of a story. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/23/u...

Stories like this pop up every election cycle. My suspicion is that the problem is user error. To convince me, I'd want to see 1) election officials from both parties confirm this is happening in test runs, AND 2) machines pulled from service if #1 is true.

Football wide receivers warrant close scrutiny for prop bet gambling. I’m not saying AJ Brown is betting. It’s just that dropped passes for a guy with such strong hands is weird. And that’s why the Big 4 sports leagues should NEVER ASSOCIATE w/ gambling companies.

Computer life was so much nicer when you could purchase desktop versions of the software and keep it active for multiple years. Subscription access suuuuuuucks.

3) They aren't available on Nov 3. 4) They didn't vote in 2024 and don't want to miss out. 5) They know the Trump Admin is doing everything possible to fuck with USPS mail delivery... In other words, we just don't know.

Just started reading Dungeon Crawler Carl (became aware of it about 6 weeks ago) and suddenly it feels like I’ve joined a club where everyone is already through Book 6.

If this shows up on my range, I’m suing the bejeesuz out of Anthropocene for cyberhacking my roasted chicken with garlic asparagus tips.

Gov Phil Scott is quite vulnerable. Two polls released in past week indicate Scott is in trouble, even though the Vermont Public poll shows a 10 point lead. 1) Scott's support was consistent in both polls. For a historically popular governor, support below 50% should raise flags.

2) The Undecided voters broke for Janoo in the UNH poll, while remaining Undecided in the Vermont Public Poll. That shows Janoo has room for growth, whereas Scott's support seems capped. 3) Democratic voters are pissed. Very pissed. Look at participation in the primaries for both parties....

Criminal charges for hacking, please. If I did a security breach in to the Fed, Social Security, or some other sensitive government agency, you can be damn sure I'd be shackled and hauled into court.

A meandering trout stream between first base and the left field foul pole would be kinda neat.

Exclusive: MLB approached the Trump administration about hosting a game at a national park, officials said, and Grand Teton was scouted. The Tetons are about “wildlife, opportunity for solitude, not for more amusement,” said the county commissioner. https://wapo.st/3Vh0N50

Football broadcast pet peeve: team scores a touchdown, broadcast runs replays from many angles, intermixed with a scenes of opposing coach looking stern and opposing QB getting off the bunch. Every flipping time. Who cares about the opposing coach and the QB at that moment?
