Dashboards are going away. They were junk drawers anyway. I'm still confused as to what an o11y product looks like today, but this is getting closer burcs.dev/notes/interf...

Day 1 of AGNTCon + MCPCon in the books. I'm exhausted, but had a blast. From the rapidfire book signing to hanging out with the MCPJam team, great talks (highlight was @aparker.io's) and keynotes, and meeting a ton of people building cool things. Never felt more pumped about the MCP community.
ok if you are a person who gives talks and you’re interested in how I did my talk thread earlier, check out github.com/austinlparke...! this is mostly a toolkit for your agents; you write out notes in markdown, and then it builds those into a presentation.

My existential crisis about “what even *is* an o11y product in 2026” deepens
As of September 2026, over 60% of our weekly active users were connecting via MCP -- running queries, creating dashboards, responding to alerts. That's a pretty wild number, given that our MCP server officially released just a year earlier.
