Did quick run of Touhou 8 to change things up and I think it went pretty well. Used one continue, and failed at the last spell card (probably at very end even that thing took a while) and then the game crashed, so I don't know if that would have been an ending.

EoSD Normal 1cc done with Reimu B. Some annoying sloppiness on Sakuya, but this was my best run thus far. (Shockingly skills improve with time and practice) Only Marisa A left and then I have to move ether to higher difficulties or other games.

Today I learned that Steam doesn't delete clips when I delete clips. My suffering C drive had 50 gigs of clips I had "deleted" from Steam.

Kingdom Hearts 3 keeps being funny game. I remember this being one of the bigger roadblocks on my first critical playthrough. And wasn't easy this time ether.

Touhou 6 Normal 1cc done with Marisa B. Wasn't as easy as I expected. Some I blame for Marisa's faster movement speed, but there were plenty of just user errors. And as good as Master Spark is, I feel, it's overkill on normal, worse bomb with better shot might be easier.

I've been practicing Blue Revolver on Hyper mode (normal), but decided to give it a try on Normal (Easy) and managed to clear it. Autobomb definitely helps a lot (maybe too much) but there were some dodging that I should feel proud off. And some cases of surviving through sheer luck.

It's done. Start of Remilia fight I thought "it's so over" and then I got one last extend. Still super sloppy run, I feel I could eventually do it with default lives and bombs. And with both characters and shot types. But I think I focus on something else for bit for now, like Blue Revolver.

My journey to 1cc Touhou EoSD - NC, feels at the same time like I'm nowhere close, but also I'm not missing much. Fairly confident in stages 1 to 4, if I just stop making dumb mistakes, Sakuya is a real struggle, and Remillia needs practice, but also doesn't feel that bad.

Just when I got hit by one of my shump moods, my arcade stick started acting up. Sometimes it not registering button press ain't good in the genre. Hoping it's easily fixable minor issue.

Didn't get the new Castlevania yet, for money reasons, so thought about replay of Bloodstained. Noticed it had gotten DLC I had missed, and user reviews were mostly negative. But in a way that absolutely sold it to me (not literally, probably waiting for sale

Replayed Blaster Master Zero 2, before eventually getting to the 3rd. And good that I did, it was fun game to replay and had a "story continues" ending, with bit of a cliffhanger in there. Which I had completely forgotten.

I was going to skip this Steam sale, but decided to finally pull the trigger on Fate/Stay Night. Time to civilize myself and understand various references to it I've come across the years. Like what's up with Saber's boiled pussy.

Read Rosen Garten Saga over the weekend. It was ridiculous, raunchy and juvenile, but also entertaining and hard to put down. Sometimes juvenile sense of humor and cool works for me.

Deadlock got massive map update and it's so cool. I'm just wandering on sandbox map being amazed of all the new stuff. Will be super confusing to navigate in actual gameplay though for next few weeks.

Guild Wars 1 has some new stuff, a mode with faster progression and some new quests like "Getting Started in Guild Wars" tutorial quest, which just tells you to do the mandatory starter quests.

Finished final episode of Curse of the Moon 2. Definitely the kind of game where I mostly remember the annoyances, over the neat bits. But it didn't stop me from playing it (excluding when I first played it years ago and gave up). I do feel tiny bit of leniency would have helped, not sure where tho.

Turned difficulty down for a stage in second loop in Curse of the Moon 2, and it's really obvious that majority of the game's non-boss challenge is designed around enemies knocking you into pits, as annoying as it is. Removing that and there is little reason to even have a stage.

And I'm fine having knockback to death pits, it's annoying when it happens, but the levels haven't been too hard. I just wanted a checkpoint before shitty ass bossfight. But I guess I have to play on baby mode to get reasonable checkpoints.

Also picked Curse of the Moon 2 back up, and restarted. That I play with guide for collectables from the start. Still feel I enjoy it less than first one, but I'll get through it at least.

Remembered I had never finished Gal Guardians Demon Purge and I was in mood for platforming, went and beat it's final boss. And then realized that in order to get true/good/whatever ending I'd have to comb through every stage of the game, potentially multiple times. No thanks.

I've tried to get into 4Xing with Endless Legends and Endless Space and Endless Space 2 and never managed to stick with them. But maybe Endless Legends 2 does the trick.

Love fighting game walk animations. So much joy and character in animations that are fundamental, but also quite little seen in actual matches.

FFXIV got story patch. ZZZ got patch, Wuwa had one week ago, Touhou remake came out, Pillars of Eternity is calling. And above all this I keep hearing "just one more match of Dealock first." (After having just played 3 matches back to back.)

Pillars 2 makes me want to pick the asshole dialogue options way more. Makes sense though. Second adventure, this time leashed by gods, would make one bit jaded.

The ship and open sea intimidate me in Pillars of Eternity 2. Doesn't help that the ship stuff is not tutorialized well, and the UI ain't easiest to read. At least the quest list has warnings for high level quests. But still why is being a captain harder than being a lord of a castle.

I do really like Pillars of Eternity 2 making most abilities and things "per encounter" rather than "per rest." I get that there is value in long term resource management, but for me it just meant avoiding using spells as much as possible and that made wizards and priests bit dull.
