frankly, i think *more* AI companies should IPO right now. if i were an AI company exec trying to keep the bubble alive, i would certainly not regret filing an IPO.

here's a couple reasons an AI company should IPO right now: 1. everyone gets to see how much money you make in this thriving industry! 2. publishing your financial reports builds a sense of community and belonging 3. you get to brag about taking that bold step ahead of the curve it's a no-brainer!

anthropic's exploding lol it went public, we find out the company's debts are like $650 billion dollars. It's valuation was based on like a ton of IOUs. a week ago those IOU holders were selling them off. in china right now, the bubble is very much popping and $450 billion vanished overnight. hm

i dislike AI-generated code as much as the next person but some people genuinely have no idea how software works and fail to realise that many of the issues we're seeing in software today could easily be 100% human-written ones. just because the software doesn't work doesn't mean it was vibecoded.
