If you're wondering about my bio: Rust's community is the only one I have ever received abuse from. JavaScript devs, C# devs, even Haskell devs behave themselves. It's literally just Rust devs. At a certain point I gave up totally on these people as they've proven themselves incapable of behaving.

Nextcloud's moderators also PARTICIPATE in abuse, if they deem your question to have insufficient information, or to be something they think you should have known. They even claim that they're "unaffiliated" with NextCloud, as though being elevated to moderator status isn't a direct endorsement.

If you voted in favor of the current shitshow on 280 in downtown San Jose, I fucking hate you. Only a fucking moron would vote for a proposition that resurfaces the 280/87 interchange without a complete redesign. That interchange kills people and now it's going to remain deadly for decades.

If you need more evidence that a significant percentage of Americans don't care in the slightest about anyone but themselves, just step outside in any large city on the 4th of July. Countless people who don't care if their evening of explosive fun starts a wildfire or triggers a veteran.

Question for the gaming hive mind, is there a decent controller on the market with back paddles that can be bound to things that *aren't* already on the controller? I don't need to be able to press square with my pinky. I want to be able to run an arbitrary keyboard shortcut with the paddles.

Just love how even simple things like not having UI elements get stuck open is apparently too difficult for Microsoft's excessively qualified engineers. That dark grey square is SUPPOSED to contain things like the wifi toggle and bluetooth devices. But no, it's a blank box that refuses to close.

They can make it semi-transparent, but god help you if you want it to have content or be able to close. I wouldn't tolerate this from free software written by nerds in their mother's basement, let alone multi-hundred dollar software written by thousands of employees each making 100k+ USD a year.

they will split hairs that nazi shit isn't nazi shit right into the gas chamber and there will still be someone choking out "but is this actually Zyklon B?" through the bloody froth that used to be their lungs
