I don't like having a lot of followers and am very liberal with the block. I will not tolerate hate or bigotry. I just want the world to be a better place to live and for love to thrive.

Now this is how you end support for a console. Let the fans have to keep it alive.

Atari is ending support for its 2021 VCS console. The company promises to keep it working by releasing an OS update that removes any reliance on a server, as well as a Homebrew App which lets players continue making and installing games. www.videogameschronicle.com/news/atari-i...

The FBI agent who said Russia didn't collude in 2016 was found to be a Russian asset, and now the ones who were investigating the stolen files in 2020 were fired to stop the investigation. T R U M P spells corruption.

Wage theft is more than 50% of all theft, and taxpayers are footing the bill to keep these workers alive. If your business model relies on underpaying your employees you don't have a valid business. And if you have record profits while employees starve, all your doing is stealing.

Don't fall for it. Vote blue. Once we have adults who will actually do the job we are paying then for, then we can push the Dems far enough left that they would still be considered left in Europe.

It's not a new trick, they've been doing it for years, you can tell the money spigot's been turned back on any time Jill Stein starts showing up again in your social media feeds

It's a new week, Bluesky. Trust no poll. Trust no pundit. Vote early if you can. Vote in person if you can.

Our assessment is that the wave of violence and arson accompanying the ongoing protests and riots in France, and its subsequent online amplification by international right-wing propaganda networks, may indicate a coordinated hybrid operation involving Russian intelligence services,

I see we're having a debate about whether it's okay to go back to "X," the site owned by a trillionaire fascist who is currently bankrolling the GOP's midterm, throttled Ukraine's war effort, and still winkingly allows vast amounts of CSAM on his service Answer: No, what the fuck is wrong with you

20 years ago I bought a nice 40" TV for $2,000, after a 50% discount. Now I can buy a high end 55" TV for $300 with no sale. 20 years ago my house sold for $65k, now it could sell for $150k+. The only update it has had in 100 years is a new bathroom, flooring and appliances.

The institutional prestige of the legal profession runs on silence. On being "civil" to one another, rather than being ethical.

I could have sworn I saw people talking abouy Roku getting bought by a really shitty company a few months ago. I just checked and the founder still has 51% of voting power and his employees have most of the rest.

Holy shit. 1,450 followers. That is about 1,000 times more than I think there should be. But apparently celebrities have about the same engagement ratio I have, so y'all ain't weird for following an not interacting. But you ARE weird for following ME.

This is one reason why I keep saying "if one group doesn't have rights then no one has rights." They probably threw out all these documents, and they will continue to throw them out to deny people their rights.

ACLU@aclu.org

ICE is refusing to return personal items to people who've been released, including driver's licenses and passports, proof of immigration status, employment authorization documents, cell phones, wedding rings, cash, and more. This is illegal. The ACLU of DC and ACLU of Illinois are suing.

Ukrainian drones lost satellite connections mid-mission, while allied early-warning systems failed during two consecutive days. Ukrainian forces detected incoming missiles only as they approached the capital, leaving sleeping civilians with little warning.

SpaceX restricted Ukraine’s Starshield without warning, disrupting military. Ukraine also reported missing allied warnings of Russian missile launches, as Trump threatened to restrict intelligence sharing unless Ukraine stopped striking Russian refineries.

Universal healthcare would save everyone money. Individuals, businesses, and the government. The reason we don't have is because the 1% want us stuck at a shitty job so they convince the poor white people that they would lose something if the poor black & brown people got healthcare.

Pissedoffpundit@pissedoffpundant.bsky.social

Sounds familiar🤔...

The question we need to ask is why are employers willing to spend more money on private insurance? We could also ask why the "fiscally responsible" party don't want to save billions of tax dollars on government employees' health insurance.

Musk and tRump are Russian assets and traitors not only to the US but to freedom and decency everywhere.

Alt National Park Service@altnps.bsky.social

Russia was attacking Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian forces say Elon Musk’s SpaceX restricted their military satellite service without warning, disrupting critical drone missions. Ukrainian adviser Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov says the restrictions affected Starshield, the military version of Starlink,

AI should be used to allow us more time to be creative. It should not be used to create so we can do mindless drone work.

John Scalzi@scalzi.com

The acid test for me is a simple one: Has my professional and/or creative life benefited in any material way from "AI," and very specifically generative "AI"? No, it hasn't. Has it been negatively impacted by the same? Yup, in a whole bunch of ways. My professional life is worse now for it.
