Looking at the projections by @sardell.bsky.social and @mwwdean.bsky.social and the pace that all players are on vs what they need to make it within 10 ballots, I'd group the 15 holdovers + Hamels as: Will make it: Beltran/Andruw Ahead of pace (suggests they get in soon): Utley/Felix/Hamels

Ryan Thibodaux@notmrtibbs.com

Year over year tracking at 140 ballots for Carlos Beltrán, Andruw Jones and Chase Utley:

On pace: Pettitte/A-Rod/Pedroia/Wright Close to pace: Abreu Will not make it: Vizquel/Hunter/Manny Need to pick up pace: Rollins/Buehrle/K-Rod Still early for Felix/Hamels/Pedroia/Wright, but that does give them the chance to change minds. Wright only +9% on such a ballot is not a good sign though.

The huge disparity between the gains of Felix (+28%), Pettitte (+18%) and Buehrle (+7%) is interesting, as many voters put them on similar level. Also, Abreu has Larry Walker potential.

Will post my first full set of 2026 Baseball Hall of Fame projections in the new year. But as a sneak peak, my model has Carlos Beltrán elected in 82% of simulations based on 100 ballots in @notmrtibbs.com’s Tracker. Andruw Jones elected 57% of the time.

Mayor Adams is wearing his “in god we trust” American flag shirt once again. But this time it’s written in Italian. He says it’s Spanish to honor the victims of a nightclub roof collapse in the Dominican republic last week.

Between then and before this game, he has missed 78 mins vs Man U, half of injury time vs Leicester and close to 90 vs Chelsea and Fulham in December. That's 22 (near) complete games in 14 weeks at 18 years old.

Fitness of 'available' outfield players: Porro: played most mins all season Gray: every min since 8 Dec, playing out of position, 18 yrs old Dragusin: virtually no rest since 30 Oct Davies: return from 1.5 month injury right into 3 full games Bentancur: 2 full games right after second concussion

Maddison: left out of squad, 'not 100%' Reguilon: very few mins Biss: missed last 2 bc of injury Moore: 2 month virus, 17 yrs old Yang/Lankshear/Ajayi/Olusesi: all under 20, 10 total PL mins That is 2 'fit' players, 12 guys about to fall apart or just back from injury + 4 (near) debutants.

We need to line up 10 btw As for who might come back (earliest expected dates): Upcoming week: Djed, Romero, Micky Week after: Werner Later in Feb: Brennan, Udogie, Odobert (Vicario) March: Solanke To reiterate: the current squad is already 3 levels beyond depleted and these men are fragile too...

Bergvall: even spread of mins this season, recent uptick in full games, 18 yrs old Sarr: 'not fit to play today', decent workload so far Kulu: 90 mins in most games, never 0 mins, 2nd most in squad Richy: injured most of season, subbed off with knock today Son: more rest than most, 467 mins in Jan

Gray has played every min since Micky went down early Dec. Has played 1305 minutes in Dec&Jan or 163 mins a week. Dragusin since 30 Oct: 2010 mins, only a 'rest' with early subs twice. Porro has missed 5 games since August (2646 mins). Kulu 2534 mins. Those 4 are about to get injured.

Ange has a contract until 2027. Conte fired March 2023, Nuno fired November 2021, Mourinho fired April 2021, Poch fired November 2019, All had a contract until summer 2023. Add the injury crisis, the fight and support in Ange shown by the players, it should be enough to give him more time right?

There is a sign of such a run. Let's see if they can finally adjust to soften them.

Joel not stepping up to contest good 3 point shooters is one of his most frustrating tendencies. Still in the game, but a strong Celtics run is never far away.

Fave team rundown week 50: Spurs scoring goals left and right, through to the semi finals of the League Cup. Utrecht continuing their luck with a 90+7 minute equaliser to secure a draw. Blowout win to progress to L16 in the cup. Sixers going 1-1, but losing McCain. Also, the Mariners exist I guess.

The situation in South Korea is showing that Bluesky is perfectly suited for following events as they happen. Curious if the timeline starts showing posts about it automatically

Beautiful weekend with two 4-0 wins 🏓 to hold off relegation. Tottenham winning 4-0 was absolutely amazing, what is up with City vs Spurs? Watched only 1 of their last 4 losses live so vibes are amazing imo Utrecht winning for the 9th time by 1 goal just has me wondering where the fun will end!
