HUMANITY IS EXTINCT. The robots are thriving… mostly. Between computer viruses, electricity addiction and robot cannibalism, the world’s gone haywire. But an animatronic Abraham Lincoln just wants a friend. A bizarre sci-fi adventure about lonely robots and preventing WW4!

If Destruction Be Our Lot is definitely in the running for my favourite book of the year. Following the adventures of an animatronic Abe Lincoln in a post-human robot society it shares some DNA with the best of 2000AD and the art is a real treat. Brilliant stuff.

Gotta finish the month out with some good horror movies. What recent stuff has been below the radar? What older stuff has been slept on?
