@live.from.roys.house

btw i think the reason i like magical sigils and worlds based around them is because magical sigils are actually real. you open up a satellite LNB and what you find is shapes wrought from metal to manipulate unseen forces. you can't tell me they're not magical sigils

roy 朗井@live.from.roys.house

this line probably works better in japanese than it does in english huh. though i guess "magic isn't something you cast, it's something you draw" is still fine but in japanese "kakeru" (here: 'to cast') and "kaku" (here: 'to draw') are off by one syllable

i listen to a lot of music, and i like to get it on CD (and sometimes other formats) where i can. so i thought i might make a thread that i can add to to show off any physical music i get!

today's new CDs! Blood Orange's Essex Honey, which i've been listening to a lot (but very out-of-order) for the past half a year Boards of Canada's new album Inferno. I've never actually owned a BOC album before and this seems like a good place to start!

22 Sept

I've got a bunch of CDs recently but I forgot to put them on this thread :p I want to try to listen to them more often so I might try posting them as I listen to them! today's record is the mountain goats' latest album. the themes are pretty fitting for the stuff I've been feeling recently!

Deltarune Chapter 5 came out IDK if you saw

26 June

[deltarune spoilers] finished chapter 5! very very fun, kinda builds on the same formula as previous chapters but has it's own charm in the form of new mechanics and silly gags. it feels like each chapter takes the same formula and builds on it in very clever ways :)

[huge deltarune spoilers with no context regarding an optional interaction in chapter 5] i was kinda on the fence about this before, but after ralsei's optional interaction with flowery i now fully support the Princess Interpretation of Ralsei Mechanics

So, my home city is Belfast. This is where I and the people I love spend our lives. The racist rioting last night and fears of more tonight are heartbreaking. To think that this is how the city I love treats people? It's shameful. It makes me ashamed to call this place home

10 June

I think some people can't handle the idea of peace, there always needs to be a "themmuns".
