#pretendpanel Now through the end of the year my only goal is to line edit and polish #Dogwood2. I'm taking a small break in December and then doing the last big surge toward finishing the series. #Dogwood2 took 4.5 months to hand-rewrite so I hope I'm giving myself enough of a window for #4.

For me, it has to be any scene with Ms Pumpkin from Seasons of War by Lindsay French. This dystopian book is heavy-hitting, with some super dark scenes, but the joy and lightness the cat brought to both the character and me as a reader made up for its heartbreak #bookshout #booksky
