Linn Foster/Silver 🐺 Follow BYMMS on Backerkit!

#BookBazaar26 starts THIS THURSDAY! Are you ready? There are nearly 40 books and creative projects crowdfunding in TBB! So much to choose from! My novel, Between You, Me and the Moonlit Sea is one of them! Curious? Read ch. 1 for free by following the campaign! ⬇️ www.backerkit.com/c/projects/p...

I've been fussing with admin stuff for the BYMMS Backerkit all night. Well, okay, not ALL night. I did also edit the short story I mentioned in my week's goals.

Dictation. I know it can up your productivity and I know it can be good, but it feels so awkward for me personally that I just don't want to do it unless I absolutely have to.

Just 3 days now! Then, we're funding these bi boys in their superhero romance. We have art prints, we have book, we have nsfw print alternates! And we're not alone: The Book bazaar launches Thursday! Join us! www.backerkit.com/c/events/the...

The closer we get to the launch of the Book Bazaar and the BYMMS campaign, the more nervous I get. I've poured so much heart into BYMMS, I really hope people like it.

Goals for the week: - Review edits for my short story for the Book Bazaar anthology. - Edit ch. 3 of Pierce the Sky. - Read? - Emotionally prepare myself for the launch of @the-book-bazaar.com, which starts on Thursday. And that's it. Keeping it simple this week. #LGBTQWriteAThon

OH BOY do I have art of my #AwesomeCharacters! Since we're FOUR DAYS away from the launch of the BYMMS Backerkit campaign, I feel I should show off Bell, Key, and Tae for this one. I love them. ♥ (Okay I love all my OCs but still.) All art by me!

Hey guess what?!?!?! 📖 The TBB 2026 preview sampler on Itch is LIVE! We have 24 of 39 projects present in this sampler. Download it for free now to check out what projects you might be interested in backing in FOUR DAYS!! itch.io/b/3952/the-b...

Thanks for talking ghosts and ghouls with me tonight, #TBBChat! If you're interested in learning more about Bell, Key, and Tae, and enjoy character-driven contemporary fantasy romance, please check out my Backerkit campaign for Between You, Me, and the Moonlit Sea! You can read ch. 1 for free! ⬇️

Bell would absolutely become a ghost if they died right now. They're not ready to move on. Tae would not become a ghost, he'd move into the next life. Key could go either way. He'd probably want to remain here as long as Bell is here, then move on when they do. #TBBChat

Bell, Tae, and Key are all not afraid of ghosts. Tae doesn't really believe in ghosts, and Bell and Key both know there are much worse things than ghosts to be afraid of out in the world (like them, for instance.) They are all afraid of failure, though. For different reasons. #TBBChat

Bell has been tempted, but never actually used one. They're afraid of what might happen if they did. Key has considered using one, but doesn't really have anyone he wants to contact. Tae doesn't believe spirit boards work, so he has no interest. He might've tried one as a teen at a party. #TBBChat

There is no definitive proof of the afterlife in BYMMS, but many do believe one exists. Since BYMMS is an alternate version of our world, any afterlife you might expect to find in our mythos etc. you can expect to find there as well. Bell and Key, for example, believe in reincarnation. #TBBChat

Hello #TBBChat! As the sign says, I'm Linn, author of contemporary fantasy romance Between You, Me, and the Moonlit Sea, and I'm your host tonight. I just got home from getting a tattoo done as my birthday present to myself and WOOF is my arm stinging.

Good afternoon, #ScribesUnited. Today has not at ALL gone according to plan and I am, quite frankly, very disappointed by the turn of events, but I'm trying to turn it back around. Will have more updates later.

My most recent release is The Wolf Who Caught the Phoenix, a TM/F short story featuring a trans prince and his most loyal knight. It's ~6.5k words, with 3 full color illustrations by @darkchibishadow.bsky.social (who also did the cover!) Buy on Itch: platinumsoulpress.itch.io/wolfphoenix

👋 I wrote a monthly update that I hope you'll take the time to read! If you need people to 👏 before the month ends, there's also a list including: @averystorm.bsky.social @valwrites.ca @deguarts.com @verati404.bsky.social @linnfoster.com @artraiguma.bsky.social @drac.at @adairtrashart.bsky.social

The Wolf Who Caught the Phoenix is also now available in my shop! platinumsoulpress.bigcartel.com/product/wolf...

I’m gonna scream. Not only does my appointment next week NOT help with housing, it ALSO doesn’t declare me disabled, which means ANOTHER step in the process. I’ll be homeless in less than a month, and I’ll die from my heart condition. Please consider donating. I need $2k. gofund.me/a192a7989

It's the time for spooky stories and I have a handful! From now until the beginning of November, get my selected spooks for 25% off on itchio! I got... cryptid horror, angel horror, cosmic horror, vampire feels horror, fallen star fantasy horror, and a romantic tragedy! 🎃👻 itch.io/s/205604/hal...

FRIENDS: recommend some trans-authored books (including yours!) in the comments! And if you've never read a book by a trans person, browse the comments and you may find your next great read. No time like the present to stick it to the pieces of shit who think we ought neither to be seen or heard

They keep the bowl of Halloween candy right next to my desk at work and, as a result, I have eaten an irresponsible amount of Milk Duds this week.

Nice. www.backerkit.com/c/projects/p...

Ya boi was wiped OUT last night after birthday festivities so I didn't get The Wolf Who Caught the Phoenix uploaded to my shop and Patreon, but I will be doing that tonight!

It may be my birthday, but YOU get a gift! The Wolf Who Caught the Phoenix is live on Itch, and will be available in my shop and on Patreon later tonight!

It's my birthday today! 🎉 In lieu of an art share, I humbly request that you look at the @backerkit.com campaign for my upcoming novel, Between You, Me, & the Moonlit Sea, and share it with anyone else you think might like it. 💜 Get ch. 1 for free by following! ⬇️ www.backerkit.com/c/projects/p...

Normally I line all my work, especially if I'm going to color it, but this sketch was so clean and I didn't feel like lining today, so I chose to just color it. Bell very rarely smokes these days, but every once in a while they indulge in one, usually with Key. It's nostalgic.

There was a specific snip I wanted to use so badly for today's #WIPSnips but it is a big spoiler. 😔 So instead we get to see Bell and Key's first on-screen transformations. 🦊
